    Not worth the money

Doesn't cool trans temps, just takes longer for the fluid to get to temp. The drain plug is the only benefit.

    Warped face

After fighting trans leaks and thinking the lines and dip stick tube were my issue I finally had the pan checked. It was 1/16 of an inch off when we machined it. I installed two different style of gaskets as well prior thinking I just wasn't getting a good seal. Lots of wasted time for a pan that was machined incorrectly. (shame on me I suppose for not thinking to check that sooner). Thick material so luckily we were able to level it out without compromising the integrity. I guess you do get what you pay for.

The worry-free large capacity cooling pan!

My transmission specialist put this product on for me when he was doing my rear main seal. I wanted to take advantage of the transmission dropping so I got installed a aluminum driveshaft, upgraded valve body, and this aluminum pan. I drove the car back from the shop and I noticed that temps didn't get as hot as it used to be because of the extra capacity it holds plus the cooling fins built into the pan. This is my short review but when I drive it long distance I can make a better assumption. Its a great buy.

    Great pan!

This pan looks alot better than the old stocked steel pan. States its "light weight" my opinion it weight just about the same as stocked pan. Drain plug is a huge plus. There is a small screw already in place in one hole just make sure its not over your pan bolt pattern if so its a easy removal. So, yea 4/5 stars great pan just the weight issue I have with it.

    Great pan for the money

The quality of this pan is second to none. Just as nice as any other out there and 50$ cheaper. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a hole tapped for a transmission temp gauge. They could also supply a plug so you have the option to plug the hole when a temp gauge is not desired. I'm pretty sure people would be willing to pay extra for a value added feature like that. I have access to the necessary tools to drill and tap my own but most people would have to go buy a tap that big, step up, or both to accommodate for a temp gauge install.

    Great Pan

The transmission pan fit perfect. I had to order the filter and gasket from another site because they are not included and AM doesn't stock them. I used 6.5 qts of Mercon V to put the fluid level in the cross hatch area. Great product and fast shipping.

    Nice product

It fits nice and looks great. It comes with bolts and gasket. I bought a TCI super streetfighter trans. It had a major dent in the factory painted pan when I received it. It was supposed to have a chrome pan it did not. Having this pan to put on really made the job worth while! Extra Fluid, cooling fins and a drain plug! A must for any racing or high performance 4r70w for the price!

    Awesome pan

This pan was as expected, Quality was very good, machined completely and when used with the Ford reuseable gasket, No leaks! I did an infra-red temp reading and the transmission was 120 degrees at the front of the pan. I put this pan on 2001 Grand Marquis same transmission as the Mustang. USA made is a major plus for me! Thanks!

    Well made

This is a very well made product. It is far superior to the factory pan, and with the added capacity should help the transmission run cooler.

Very easy to install great fit

great product was easy to install perfect fit. When I dropped the OEM pan I was surprised to find a piece of plastic laying in the bottom shaped like a button mushroom, found out it is a plug installed during transmission build to keep dirt from entering the trans through the trans dip stick tube. When the factory installs the dip stick tube they do not pull out the plug but knock it into the trans.
