    More Power! The stock 1999 & 2001 SVT Cobra Mustang came from the factory with a healthy 320 Horsepower and 317 lb/ft of Torque, but after installing a Vortech System you will be planting a ground pounding 464 Horsepower and 406 lb/ft of Torque to the pavement. That is 144 more horsepower over stock!

    Tuner Kit. This Vortech Mustang Supercharger Tuner Kit comes with a V-2 engine-oil-fed supercharger and all the required hardware needed for installation to turn your snake to a mighty serpent. Note this kit does not include any fuel management components (fuel injectors, adapter harnesses, fuel pump) or any calibration. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation.

    Application. This Satin Vortech Supercharger System is specifically designed for use on the 1999 & 2001 SVT Cobra 4.6L V8 Mustang.

    Please Note: Vortech Supercharger System are built to order by Vortech for our customers. Because of this there can be a 5 to 7 day lead time on orders.

    The bottom end of my engine is completely forged with ARP fasteners. Can I change the size of my blower to make more power? If so which size? I'm looking for a blower capable of at least 20 lbs of boost.

    • The Vortech Supercharger System comes with a V2 supercharger. These are interchangeable with most of Vortech's lineup, and by them selves are capable of supporting 22+PSI. We would recommend consulting with Vortech to determine the best setup for your Mustang.

    Hi . I have a Mustang Cobra 2001 racing. Bought it six years ago ago a supercharger vortech v2. Is a car that has 565 hp in the rubber and torque 509. Is an engine made in modular mustang racing. Every time I get out in the car and give it to the maximum the serpentine always breaks. I'm a little tired of changing those streamers like that. I need a solution to this problem. I do not know what I've done wrong but I always check and see that the serpentine is well aligned with the pulleys. I'm a little tired of the fact car always breaks the serpentine. If there is no solution, I will sell it because I do not even want to leave it after so many investments. Give me a solution if there is a serpentine and pulleys that come for a car with supercharger. please I need help. Thank you

    • I suggest getting in contact with Vortech directly. There may be certain adjustments that need to be made in order to stop the serpentine belt from breaking at maximum power.

    Supercharger system Will this be safe to run with the stock 99 cobra engine block at a moderate tune or do you need to buy a new block?

    • The kit is designed for a completely stock engine, so no need to upgrade anything other than injectors and fuel pump. As long as your tuner is competent, your stock block and internals will be just fine.

      It's like a new car!

      The provided instructions made installation easy. Now my little 99 Cobra feels more like a Shelby, but without the sticker shock.
