How to Install PIAA 520 Series 6 in. Round Ion Yellow Halogen Lights - Driving Beam - Pair on F-150

• Installation of this bulb is simple, just reverse the steps you took to remove your old bulbs.

• Before installation make sure that your lamps and wiring harness are compatible with this bulb.

Things to check prior to installation:

1. Lamp must take the same style bulb as the one you are attempting to install.

2. Lamp must be able to dissipate the heat created by this upgrade. * Higher wattage bulbs will generate more heat.

3. The bulb seat must be clean.

4. The connector that plugs into the bulb must be clean.

5. The harness cannot be damaged.

6. If you are installing a higher wattage bulb you must check to see if the relay harness is capable of the extra amperage.

If any of the above listed are not checked and fixed this bulb will not perform and if they are not fixable you cannot use this bulb

3. The second test is to turn on the high beam and go to the front of the lamp and check that it is the high beam filament that is on and that the low beam is turned off.

Notice: Some bulbs only have one fillament. in this situation there is only on and off

4. Turn off lights and stop vehicle.

5. If the test reveals that the bulbs are not working properly, seek assistance from your local PIAA dealer.

6. If the bulbs are working, you are ready to start using and enjoying your new PIAA bulbs.

CAUTION:

• NEVER touch the glass tube with anything including your hands as residue and/or oils will greatly reduce the life span of the bulb. Oils may actually cause the bulb to burst when turned on. If you do get a substance on the bulb you must clean it thoroughly with a cleaner that leaves no oil or residue such as an alcohol cleaner, before turning the bulb on.

• NEVER turn on the bulb when it is not fastened into the lamp. This is because if there happens to be a substance on the glass part of the bulb it may burst causing personal injury.

• NEVER do anything to the bulb that may cause it to break. This is because the glass tube is under pressure and may burst causing personal injury.
