Procharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger Kit (99-03 V6)

AmericanMuscle no longer carries the Procharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger Kit (99-03 V6). Please check out 1999-2004 Mustang Supercharger Kits & Accessories for an updated selection.

Features & Details

  • 60-80% Horsepower Increase
  • P-1SC Supercharger
  • 9-11 psi of Boost
  • Computer Chip Included
  • 2-Core Air-To-Air Intercooler Included
  • Designed for Stock Applications Only
  • Fits 1999-2003 V6 Mustangs
More Horsepower! The stock V6 Mustang came with a decent 193 Horsepower and 225 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installation a ProCharger-equipped 3.8L V6 Mustang can make 60-80% more horsepower at the flywheel. Thanks to the industry's coolest charge air temperatures, the unmatched power gains are delivered with maximum reliability and everyday drivability.

High Capacity Intercooler. If you have the desire to continue modding your Mustang even after adding a ProCharger Supercharger, then this is the Kit for you. The 2-core air-to-air intercooler included with the Stage II Kit has a higher capacity than the High Output (HO) Kit. This Stage II kit will accommodate additional modifications as you continue to transform your Mustang into the highest horsepower beast possible.

Complete Kit. The ProCharger Stage II Intercooled System comes 100% complete, and includes ProCharger self-contained supercharger, air-to-air intercooler, intercooler tubing, brackets, ProFlow bypass valve, and a computer chip.

Application. This ProCharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger System is specifically designed for use on the 1999 to 2003 V6 Mustangs equipped with the 3.8L engine.

Technical Notes. The ProCharger kit does not include fuel injectors and will require the use of 39.5 lb/hr fuel injectors, ProCharger part #FI001I-039. This Complete Supercharger Kit is designed to be used on stock applications, as Procharger will only provide a tune for the stock motor with stock exhaust or most aftermarket axle-back and cat-back exhaust systems. If your vehicle is no longer stock and has been upgraded with an aftermarket throttle body, cold air intake, headers, off-road mid-pipe, etc..., Procharger will not be able to provide a tune for your modifications. For modified vehicles, it would be best to purchase a Tuner Supercharger Kit so you can have a local Dyno Shop custom tune your vehicle with your aftermarket upgrades.

Please Note. Procharger Supercharger Systems are built to order for our customers and accordingly, we require you to submit additional information about your vehicle using this form. Because of this there is a 14 day lead time on orders once your information is received.

Once the Customer Information Form is filled out, please email it to with your Order Number in the Subject line, so the order can be processed.

Is this a complete kit with everything you need? If I were to purchase this would I be good to go? More specifically do I need to buy a blow-off valve? Intercooler? etc... in order to have this 100%set up ready to ride after install? I am in the market for an item such as this and want to make sure I have everything lined up before the install. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

      • Yes this is the complete kit

Auto Can the automatic transmission handle that much power safely?

      • Yes and no if this is your only big mod then your ok this was made for stock v6s but I wouldn't go above like 325 hp with stock tranny

Will it honestly work with the 2004 3.9L V6? I have read that the engines are identical except for a tiny difference in stroke

      • The Procharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger System will come with every part needed to install onto the 1999 to 2003 Mustang V6 model. This kit will not work on the 2004 Mustang, the 2004 Mustang had some slight electronic differences which will cause this kit to not be compatible with the 2004.

For the ProCharger stage 2 for the 99-4 v6 mustang Can you put the boost high then 11 psi or is that the highest?

      • 9-11 PSI of boost is for this kit only since its intended for a stock V6. If you upgrade your fuel system, slap a smaller pulley, and get tuned, you can run more boost.

I have a cold air intake installed, can I still install the supercharger kit?

      • Hey Michael, This system would completely replace that cold air intake with its own intake system geared to allow the amount of air it needs to function properly

Would This Set-up Work With My Car? I have a high millage 'stang pushing 176,XXX miles. I was thinking that I might be pushing my Luck by adding this to the engine. I was wondering if it was still safe to add this? The last question is that if I do install it, would I need to get it Dyno tuned or does the computer chip included work the same way? 1 answer

Actually, two questions, please. (1) will this package all fit under the stock hood without modifications? (2) how much HP total will this produce assuming a 2000 stock V6? Thanks. 1 answer
What states are these legal in? Compliant wise and will legally pass inspection/models? 1 answer
In the technical notes it says 39.5lb injectors are required. That's a very specific number. I can not find 39.5lb injectors on other websites. I can only find 39 and 40lb. I don't want to overcompensate nor undercompensate. It would help to get some feedback on which ones to order or maybe someone could provide a link on which ones would be acceptable to install. Thank again. (2003 v6 stock) 0 answer

The supercharger does the job. Added a bunch of power I needed for tx2k16. Haven't gotten it dumped yet so I don't know what it has added in terms of numbers.
