Hey everybody, I'm Justin with AmericanMuscle.com. I'm going to be taking a closer look at the Pypes Pype-Bomb Catback exhaust system available for your 1994 to 2004 Mustang GT and all 1986 GTs and 1986 to 1993 LX 5-liter Fox Bodies. If you guys are on the hunt for quite possibly one of the most aggressive systems available for your 2-valve SN95 or Fox Body, well, then the Pype-Bomb Catback might just be your ticket. Now, this system gets its loud aggressive sound courtesy of these twin M-80 bullet-style mufflers here that are mounted directly behind the midpipe and are straight through design here allowing for maximum performance but also, in this case, maximum sound. In addition to those twin M-80 bullet-style mufflers, guys, this system also consists of 304 grade stainless steel tubing throughout, all of it which has been mandrel bent and is two and a half inches in diameter. I'd say the biggest signature item here with any Pypes system has to be the massive three and a half inch polished tips, which basically act like a megaphone for your 2-valve motor and look pretty good underneath the rear bumper while doing so. Guys, it is worth pointing out that Pypes does offer this same exact system but with black tips instead of the polished options, which you can find here at American Muscle. Since this is a Catback, the install will be slightly more involved but overall not that bad. Figure a couple of hours underneath the car from start to finish getting the factory system removed and the new Pypes system in place. Now, you have to keep in mind we have a ton of useful info back on the product page if you're not already there, including both customer and manufacturer submitted install guides. So be sure to check those out before you start wrenching. So if you're looking for one of the more aggressive Catback exhaust systems available for your SN95 or late model Fox Body, then be sure to check out the Pypes Pype-Bomb Catback exhaust system right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

Increase in Performance and Sound. Upgrade your V8 Mustangs exhaust to a Pypes "Pype-Bomb" Cat-Back Exhaust with Polished Tips and yield an instant increase in horsepower at the rear wheels. It features two of Pypes high flow M-80 Bullet Style Mufflers for the ultimate in unrestricted flow and power gains and a deeper throaty tone.

Aggressive Throaty Sound. The Pypes "Pype Bomb" CatBack exhaust system features two high flow straight-through M-80 Bullet style mufflers that are mounted directly after the Mid Pipe to produce an aggressive deep throaty muscle car tone that is further enhanced with the help of a set of "Pype Bomb" stainless steel resonator tips.

Quality Materials. This Pypes Cat-Back Exhaust is constructed from free flowing mandrel bent 2.5" diameter 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and features two Pypes M-80 Bullet straight-through mufflers for an aggressive throaty sound. The whole system is finished off with a set of 3.5 polished 304 stainless steel resonator tips for modern Muscle Car styling.

Application. The Pypes Pype-Bomb Cat-Back Exhaust kit is specifically designed to simply bolt-on to the existing stock H-Pipe of any 1986 GT, 1987-1993 LX 5.0, 1994-2004 GT, 2001 Bullitt, and 2003-2004 Mach 1 for more power and an aggressive sound.

Didn’t fit my 99 gt correctly

Took it to a shop to get it installed and this particular shop specializes in exhaust changes, and they didn’t fit at all, he had to do a lot of cutting and welding to get the right fit for my GT mustang. They do sound amazing but just the cost to get it in was outrageous when on average exhaust isn’t very expensive to do at a shop

      Pretty good sound

Great sounding exhaust. Don’t fit quite right and the tip hangers needed to be bent into the correct shape. Took much longer to instal than any bolt on cat back should.

      Aggressive rumble

These pipes are one of the best in my opinion, they are loud and have that muscle car tone, i installed them in my mustang, i recommend pairing them up with a pypes x-pipe as well

      Awesome sound

I bought this catback along with the pypes off road xpipe for my 2002 GT and let me tell you .It sounds incredible. It looks really nice too and I love the tips that come with this. At idle its surprisingly quiet, considering that the mufflers are just straight thru.but when you get on it ? its a beast. I love how it crackles on downshifts . Ive owned chamber mufflers before like mac and flowmaster.i didn't think these would sound as good but I was wrong .They sound way better . And they sound like they've broken-in after about 2 months and sound even louder. Theyre not obnoxious if you drive normal but if you let the rpms climb alittle like 3k rpm's and it will put a smile on your face.

      Pypes pype-bomb

This was a great purchase for my 97 GT. These sound great. I pulled into the gas station and was getting many comments about the sound. Installation took about 3 hrs. Better instructions would've made the job a lot easier, faster.

      Pypes Pipe-Bomb Catback review

I've had this system on my car for about 2 months now and I love it with the O/R Xpipe it is deep and is loud when you want it but when you put it in 5th and are cruising at 70 its not that loud or droney.

      Very nice budget conscious pipes

I had a local mechanic put them in (and a fuel filter) and he said it took about 2 hours which is about what other reviewers have said. I like the sound coming out the exhaust and through the floorboards. It "woke" the car up. Coupled with a 91 octane canned tune I feel an increase in power using the butt dyno. I'd buy these pipes again and recommend them to a friend.

      Pypes Pype-Bomb Cat-Back Exhaust. 1998 GT

Actually, thought it would be louder. Good mileage, but let down. I may have made a different decision when it comes to exhaust options...I expected louder. Used a lift, easy install, but very quiet. Not what I expectef for a highly recommended exhaust.

      Who said these arnt loud?

I’m running longtubes and had a shop make a midpipe with no cats to these mufflers and it’s awesome. They are very mild when cruising or Idling but once you get on it they scream. Absolutely in love with the sound they make

      great value, better sound!

Other than the box being beat up, the contents were complete as advertised. The local muffler shop, the one with the gold guy, installed in one day. My wife is enthralled with the sound and I can't get her out from behind the wheel. Value led me to purchase this system, the rumble it adds to my '94 GT is extra sweet.

      Awsome

I was looking for something clean and at a decent price. I loved the sound of the car after install, actually sounds like a older pony car unlike most exhaust you hear now. The only problem I had with the kit like always it needs ban clamps instead of cheap u bolt style clamps.
