Good product for the money

Well designed, easier to install if you have a lift. I suggest getting two buddies to help raise the front diff to re-install. Instructions aren't the best, as many times it calls to use metric sockets ...

if i want this lift to sit level can i buy a leveling kit and combine it to the lift in the front

whats the biggest tire size you'd recommend

Robert

  • Hello! With this Rough Country 6 in. Suspension Lift Kit it states it clears up to a 35x12.50 tires. Now depending on backspacing and amount of clearance you have with front bumper you could possibly fit a larger tire. Problems arise when the tire comes in contact with the front bumper, the fender behind the front tire or suspension and steering components.

will i have to get a leveling kit with this?

Robert

  • This is a lift kit. You could buy a leveling kit instead if you would like to get rid of the racking. You do not have to combine them together in order for them to work properly.

Great lift for the price. The rear sits a little higher than the front so I'm hoping after a couple months everything will settle and it'll sit more even. Installed myself, and wouldn't recommend doing so if you don't have a lift to use. It would be a nightmare trying to do this with a jack and jack stands. All in all great, maintains a pretty factory ride. I put 35x12.50s on with no problem.

    Good product for the money

Well designed, easier to install if you have a lift. I suggest getting two buddies to help raise the front diff to re-install. Instructions aren't the best, as many times it calls to use metric sockets on standard fasteners- I wouldn't recommend. Took about 16 hours total (4 of the hours without help).

    Loving this lift

I love the lift and it rides great! The only thing that I don't like is that when at full turn the rubber boat touches the spring. To fix this I am going to have to buy coil overs to fix this but other than that I love the lift.
