What's going on, everybody. Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and today I'm gonna be breaking down the RTR Tactical Performance Double Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms, available for your '05 to '14 Mustang. The Tactical Performance lineup gets it's name from the tactical approach Vaughn and his team take to design, develop, and test each part, resulting in the ultimate performance for your Mustang. Lower control arms are definitely one of those parts high up in the priority list of most Mustang owners for a few different reasons. For one, a set of aftermarket lower control arms like the RTRs here will help eliminate any wheel hop that I'm sure a lot of you guys and myself can attest can be a common problem on these S197s. Secondly, a pair of well-engineered, well-designed rear lower control arms like the Tactical Performance options from RTR will help improve your traction, overall, whether it's lowering your 60 foot time at the drag strip, or helping you put that power down coming out of turns. Taking a closer look at the lowers from RTR, you will at first notice here the signature battleship grey powder coat that Vaughn and his team at RTR have decided to use with the entire Tactical Performance lineup. Now, in addition to that, you will notice they are double adjustable, here. And on-car adjustable, so it is going to allow you to easily dial in your optimal settings, depending on your application. However, the big thing with these lower control arms has to be the overall quality of construction, from the forged ends here, all the way down to these very unique maxi-bushings that are really gonna separate these lower control arms from some of the other options available out there on the market today. Now, these bushings are gonna perform like a spherical bushing, or a rod end bearing, but basically aren't gonna transmit the noise vibration and harshness that oftentimes comes along with a solid-style bushing like that. They're also a dual-durometer bushing, meaning it's gonna help prevent any possible binding. And last but not least, they are completely maintenance-free, meaning you're never gonna have to grease these things, for the life of the product. All right, guys. Getting these rear lower control arms installed is a breeze, for the most part. Simple two bolt install here, that should really only take you about 45 minutes to an hour, tops. It is important to mention, guys, that you should install these with the rear suspension loaded up, and as an additional pointer, I would say adjust these things to the same length as your stock lower control arms, just to get you started. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to hit us up here at A-M, using our 1-800 number. So if you're looking to rid your S197 of that nasty wheel hop, and you wanna help the car get off the line better in the process, then be sure to check out the RTR Tactical Performance Adjustable Lower Control Arms, available right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
