    Intimidating Styling. A SpeedForm Split Inlet Ram Air Hood is the ideal visual and performance upgrade for your 2010-2012 GT or V6 Mustang. Complete with two fully functional rear heat extractor vents and a functional dual scoop opening, this SpeedForm Fiberglass Hood will improve air flow while adding an intimidating appearance of your S197 Mustang.

    Functional Ram Air. Keep your Mustangs under hood temperatures in check. Featuring dual center air scoops and two rear heat extractor vents, this SpeedForm Hood not only looks great, but will also improve air flow. The dual center scoops with stainless mesh grilles direct cool air into the integrated ram air system, which then makes its way to the factory air box. The rearward vents allow hot air to escape from the engine bay. Combined, your Mustang can perform better and will obtain a boost in overall performance.

    Quality Construction. SpeedForm Hoods are made from an extremely strong, lightweight fiberglass material that requires little to no prep work for installation. Featuring a smooth, gel coat finish on both the top and underside of the hood allows you the option to paint both sides for a fully customized look. Mesh inserts are also included.

    Bolt-On Installation. Utilizing the OEM latches and hinges on your Mustang, this Hood is a direct fit replacement for the factory hood. Shipping unpainted, this SpeedForm hood will require prep, primer and paint prior to installation, completed by your local shop. Please check locally for pricing estimates.

    Application. This SpeedForm Split Inlet Ram Air Hood with Rear Heat Extractors will bolt up in the stock location on 2010-2012 V6 or GT Mustang models for outstanding, show winning style.

    Not compatible with Shelby GT500 models.

            SPEEDFORM HOOD

            Came in as described. Needed a little bondo in some areas. Fiberglass hoods are more flexible than the stock aluminum hoods. So far so good.

            Great looking good!

            Had a few shipping hiccups due to ups losing my first hood. AM was quick on the solution and sent another one asap. Very happy with the product. Fit was good, bolt pattern matched up nicely, and the install went like a breeze. The only things that might need to be addressed are the washer fluid line set up and an area around the vents As far as the washer line, there is a spot to place them, but there aren't any holes to place the actual line. Something you'll most likely have to do yourself, or have a shop do it. Also the area where the struts are is slightly too close to the hood. The higher bolt on the strut actually hits the hood enough to scrape it. I drilled a small hole to allow for clearance, but not every hood might have that issues. All in all it's a great hood and I am very happy with how it turned out. Look out for incoming pictures.
