SR Performance Lowering Springs. Installing a set of SR Performance Progressive Rate Springs will lower your Mustang's center of gravity, which will reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. These springs not only improve handling, but they also improve the appearance of your Pony by lowering the ride height approximately 1.5" to eliminate that ugly "4x4" tire to fender gap, for a more aggressive street stance.

SR Performance Strut Tower Brace. Eliminate unwanted chassis flex and body roll in your S197 Mustang with a SR Performance Strut Tower Brace for improved handling. This Strut Tower Brace is made from super strong, aircraft-grade 4130 chromoly alloy steel to keep your front end from flexing under the torque of your motor and it is completed in an attractive bright chrome finish for durability, corrosion resistance and impressive under hood styling.

Recommended Upgrade. Anytime you lower your Mustang, your rear axle gets moved out of alignment. Adding an Adjustable Panhard Bar will not only center your rear axle, but offers great traction during straight-line acceleration as well as superior strength over the factory panhard bar.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your factory size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This SR Performance Chrome Strut Tower Brace & Lowering Spring Kit is designed for use on the 2005 to 2014 V6, GT and Bullitt Mustang Coupes. Does not fit convertible models.

Springs Technical Note. SR Performance Springs will only fit 2011 to 2014 GT and V6 Coupes when used in combination with Ford Racing M-18183-C upper strut mounts and M-18000-A dampers (sold separately).

Strut Tower Brace Technical Note. Some 2007-2009 V6 Mustangs may require minor modifications to assure proper clearance of the factory coil pack boots. Will not clear BOSS 302 Intake Manifold or Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger.

Great handling improvement for the price

Lowered my 2009 about 1.5 inches and really improved handling and stability.

Wow is all I can say. I got this with in conjunction with a rear sway bar from ST, and the whole package is incredible. The handling is incredibly tight, body roll is almost completely gone, and it stays planted in the turns. Only thing I would recommend is also getting some new control arms for the rear, as there is a quite a bit more wheel hop with the stiff springs. Other than that, its a good budget upgrade for those that cant drop 1,000 on coilovers.

          SR Tower brace

I only installed the tower brace for now. I will install the lowering springs once I upgrade shocks and struts which will be soon. I can tell a big difference in the tower when going around corners. My car hugs the road and handles better. I can't wait to feel the difference when I add other upgrades. I would probably give all 5 stars but waiting on other upgrades.

          Good but...

Although it's really nice to be able to cut into that turn better, it would've been nice to know that it would cut into my bank account even more. If I could do it over I'd rent the parts I needed and do it myself. I'm now out around $450 on install. Just get a few friends and do it. It's worth what you save and a great experience.

          Made Gt look Great!

Gt looks awesome lowered! Great handling improvement only problem is that I have 82k miles on stock shocks and struts that are now very squeaky. Also have protahne bushings in at the same time. Will up grade shocks and struts soon.
