    Improves Handling. Eliminate bumpsteer by correcting your Mustang's front end suspension geometry with Steeda's fully adjustable kit. Replace your stock, non-adjustable components and gain better, more predictable cornering and handling even at the limit.

    Ideal for Lowered 'Stangs. The Steeda Bumpsteer kit is the perfect complement to their X2 or X5 balljoints or any caster/camber plates for perfect handling.

    No Drill Installation. Unlike other kits which require you to drill your spindle out during installation, Steeda's Bumpsteer kit features spherical rod-ends with tapered shafts for an easy installation with no drilling.

    Application. This Steeda Bumpsteer kit is designed for all 2005-2014 Mustangs.

    NOTE: Bumpsteer is a change in toe angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bump-steer is built into the geometry of the suspension and steering system, and has nothing to do with turning the steering wheel. The effect of bumpsteer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down. This toe change or "steering" occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump in the road. Bump steer is undesirable because the suspension is steering the car instead of the driver. To fix a bumpsteer problem, you need to alter the height of the outer tie-rod relative to the steering rack with adjustable tie-rod ends, also known as a bumpsteer kit.

        Will these work with 16 inch wheels ? Just recieved these, eyeballing next to stock tie rod end doesn't look they will clear 16 inch wheel. Will they or won't they ? If they won't it isn't mentioned in fitment guide. I don't wish to change my wheels, what are other options to fix bumpsteer ? I have Eibach Pro springs.

        • Smallest rim size I've installed them with was a 17" for the 05-13 Mustang, and there was still plenty of clearance. I see no reason why they wouldn't work.

        How many spacers should be added if I have a 2005, with Rouch stage 2 suspension?

        Do you need to grease this balljoint every now and then? It is an open construction so it can be reached by rain and dust. The OEM tie ends are closed with rubber.

        • This bumpsteer kit does not need to be greased.

        So I'm new too this and just wanted to verify if these replace the outer tie rods? Killed my suspension and looking to replace so I just wanted to verify this first.

            Huge difference

            I lowered the car earlier this year and the car was all over the place going over bumps. This kit was super easy to install and the difference is crazy. Car handles great. Highly recommend if lowering the car.

            14 Mustang GT

            Paired with Steeda X-11 ball joints restored drivability after lowering. Car drove really rough at highway speeds due to front end geometry after install of Koni oranges and Eibach Sportlines. Car drives great now highly recommend if car is lowered. Alignment recommended also.

            Not too bad

            If you’re lowering your car from stock they’re most likely a huge improvement however my first bumpsteer kit after updating my whole suspension system the first kit from Whiteline was a little better but No longer make them anymore and one failed inspection so I got this kit and it’s not bad.

            Must for Track Day Cars and Almost Indestructible

            If you're seriously tracking your Mustang, a bumpsteer kit is a must. The nose of the car will wander and react oddly without the bumpsteer correction. I can't imagine driving on track without it now. My GT track car is about 2" lowered, has Eibach Pro R2 coilovers, FR hubs up front, and an FR sway bar, and everything works excellently together. I HIGHLY recommend an alignment after installing this by a knowledgeable shop.

            Perfect

            Speedy shipping. Installed with ease, this with BMW adjustable LCA's drop brackets, adjustable UCA, adj panhard rod and rod support bar, car hugs the ground, night and day difference! Feels like I have all new shocks, can give it more power through the turns now with no worries, high speed Manu version are a breeze.

            2006 mustang

            Driving my car since lowering my car has been a nightmare especially since it’s my daily driver. Cali for sure doesn’t have the best roads and would fell everything felt as if I was driving a boat. Once these were installed you could tell immediately the difference. For sure need alignment after done but wow night and day.

            Acceptable difference

            Although I can’t say that there is a CRAZY difrence but if you know your stang very well you will slightly feel a difference. Turning feel better,taking corners is fairly decent and as far as the bumpsteering goes it defenitly improved that. It’s no longer swaying across the highway especially on jersey roads when hitting bumps and I feel as if there is less body roll as well but not much of a difference. Install was very easy did it myself I ended up finding out that my drivers outer tie rod end was freshly blown anyway at 34,000 miles so it was a win for me then aligned it after and was good to go in about hour and a half tops because all I had to do was adjust the tow on the alignment rack. All in all defenitly recommend if you are lowered like me. I am on sr springs 1.5 inch drop

            Must Have When Lowering

            I ordered the Steeda Bumpsteer Kit for my 14 Mustang GT when I purchased the SR Performance Lowering Springs. I initially was going to buy the SR bumpsteer kit as well but it was out of stock. I am certainly glad I went with the Steeda kit as it not only makes a huge difference in the handling of my lowered ride but the blue looks great too (matches well with the deep impact blue!!)

            Steeda bumpsteer kit

            I did a huge suspension upgrade which included lowering on sportlines and the steeda bumpsteet kit and all I can say is this kit delivers. I had terrible bump steer at stock height so I figured with the drop it would get worse so I added the bump steer kit and it solved the problem. So in my opinion well worth it.

            No More Click Clack

            Needed new ball joints, so with this kit I got some steering upgrade. When you turn the wheel the car responds immediately, quick cornering too! So far so good, I mean great.
