Improve Braking Performance. Steeda Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines provide far superior performance than the original factory rubber hoses. Steeda brake hoses significantly reduce volumetric expansion for improved braking, firmer pedal feel and better brake modulation, making them the perfect addition to your S550 Mustang.

D.O.T. Certified. Steeda Stainless Steel Brake Hoses not only improve the braking performance of your Mustang, but they also meet or exceed the strict guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of transportation (DOT).

Superior Quality and Materials. Steeda Heavy Duty Mustang Brake Lines are made in the USA and feature a 5 layer design. The inner Teflon hoses are wrapped in braided Kevlar for extra strength, while the outer layer is wrapped in braided 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistant. Factory style brackets are included for easy O.E. type installation.

Application. These are not universal fit hoses you get at your local parts store, this set of Steeda Stainless Steel Braided Lines are designed to be a direct fit upgrade replacement for the front and rear of the 2015-2019 Mustangs, including the EcoBoost, GT and V6 models.

Just installing Baer 6 piston calipers in all four corners plus Baer 15 rotors, cross drilled slotted in all four corners. The manufacturer says reuse factory lines. Can I replace the factory lines with these Steeda lines? Thank you BE Vancouver

  • We have not tested the Steeda Stainless Braided Brake Lines with Baer 6 piston brakes, however these will work with any calipers that accept stock lines.

    Left me nervous.

I bought these because I was taking my calipers off to paint. I may do the occasional autocross event, but nothing much more than that. There are no instructions included. So I'm guessing this is for the person or crew who knows exactly what they're doing. I had two issues with these. I took photos of the OEM ones since I figured everything would mount the same. But one thing I noticed was that on the fronts, the hose that comes from the caliper will have to be mounted facing the other direction. Twisting the cable around to match the direction of the OEM one, left it feeling unnaturally twisted. The other issue I had with these, I managed snapping a head off of one of the new Banjo bolts. Right off the bat, the OEM ones felt more durable. Boy was i right. Luckily i was able to use an OEM one to fix it. But that leaves me wondering how close are the other bolts to snapping? At this point, i think i should have saved my money. A side note, the hoses come in Steeda Blue and not the grey shown. Nothing to worry about anyways since you cant see them.
