    Designed For Optimum Handling. Steeda's X11 Ball Joint will greatly improve the suspension geometry on your lowered Mustang by raising the spindle relative to the pivot-point of the ball joint. This raises the roll center back into the correct range, resulting in reduced body roll, quicker steering response and improved overall front tire grip.

    Eliminates Body Roll. Specifically designed to correct the front roll center geometry, the X11 ball joint features a longer shaft, to raise the spindle in relation to the ball joint pivot point.

    Superior Materials. The X11 ball joints are made in the USA to Steeda's strict specifications from high strength steel and case hardened to exceed the strength and durability of standard OEM ball joints. All the internal housing parts are made from low-friction Nylon to preserve the factory steering feel and feedback.

    Application. This set of two Steeda X11 ball joints are specifically designed for use on the 2011-2014 V6 and GT Ford Mustangs. Also fits 11-12 Shelby GT500.. Will also fit 2010 Shelby GT500.

    It says 18" wheels are required for clearance, does this mean I can't have anything bigger like for example, 20" Rovos Durban. If so, what could I use instead?

    • The Steeda X11 Ball Joint Kit is specifically designed to correct the front roll center geometry on your lowered car. These would not need to be used on a stock ride height Mustang.

    Hello, How can i check the connection (mounting) diameter of this ball joints? Mine current old ball joints have 51 mm mounting diameter and i had problems when tried to replace it with new aftermarker ball jpints

    • I do not have the exact diameter of the Steeda X11 Ball Joint Kit but it is going to be an exact replacement for the factory ball joint.

    Will this make road feel smoother ? My area there are a lot of pot holes and I want a smoother driver will this work or do I need to upgrade on another piece ?

    • The Steeda X11 Ball Joint Kit (11-14 All) won't make the road feel smoother, per se. This ball joint kit will improve your handling, however, making your cornering smoother.

      I installed these with the bumpsteer kit which I will say both have a VERY heavy duty makeup and after getting the alignment, this car handles like a completely different vehicle. An absolute MUST if you're going to lower your car, don't go cheap, do it right.

      Ball joints

      I just completed a huge suspension upgrade which included lowering on sportlines, shocks, struts... and bump steer kit. I added the ball joints because, why not, do it all at the same time being that there’s over 65000 miles and save on labor. So anyway the ride is great. In my opinion it’s well worth it.

      Quality ball joints that help the handling

      This is a must for the lowered Mustang. Lowered cars lose the small amount of camber gain allowed by a strut suspension. Lowered suspensions require a lot of static negative camber to make the tire work properly. Also, lowered cars also feels like it "tricycles" and bit rolling into turns. The extended ball joint fixes both problems. The added camber gain you get my properly positioning the control arm lets you use less static camber. Another added benefit is a bit higher roll center which helps reduce the tippy-tricycle feeling at turn-in. Less understeer, sharper handling.

      Big improvement

      After lowering my car I knew I had to push everything up to get it back into stock geometry. Instead of doing whole new arms I put these on and have no complaints. I had a shop install this set. Everything is as solid as stock and no signs of failure. Hope they last long.

      Essential for bad roads!

      Installed today at a local tire shop, with Steeda bumpsteer kit and the required alignment afterward and the difference was immediately noticeable. No play in the wheel, the car doesn't wander around the road on its own any more. It just stays put. Here in Saskatchewan, they say that in some parts of the world, people may drive on the left of the road, but here they drive on what's left of the road. With the ever present potholes, gravel patches, and warps and unevenness of the roads here, I feel these are as important to have on the car as tires. Unless you like keeping your speed under 15!

      It's the little things that make a difference.

      Excellent mod. I paired this with the Steeda bump steer kit and they work great together. My car has been lowered for 15k mi and my factory ball joints were shot. After the install, I noticed a much more linear steering feel over rough surfaces. The steering wheel doesn't jerk around over uneven pavement as it did before. I'm lowered on Steeda Sports with Koni STR.Ts. At high speeds this set up really shines. Hitting bumps/patches at 90mph and the steering feel inspires much confidence.

      Awesome product

      Improved Ride

      This product improved steering and responsiveness especially when riding over bumps. I would even state that it makes the car a little smoother over bumps which is welcome. It improved the front suspension overall. I recommend the product to others.

      Front end geometry restored!!!

      I've installed h&r ss springs and steeda shocks and struts so my car is very low which directly changes everything about the front end geometry(handling characteristics) so I've installed these x11 ball joints and the bump steer kit through steeda and have retaken my front end precision geometry(handling/steering) after an alignment of course, and it's amazing not only are these stronger components they ride nicer and the steering, amazing product meant for anyone who likes to have a slammed stang and still perform well

      Fits late date 2010 GT

      If you have a 2010 GT that was made after a certain date I can not remember now to save my life this is the one you need. I called Steeda to confirm this after buying the Steeda 05-10 kit and it slipped right threw. But anyways these work great and are a perfect compliment for the bump kit! Great product as always from Steeda!
