    Features & Details

    • Reduces Bumpsteer
    • Improves Handling
    • Quicker, Crisper Steering Response
    • For Lowered 'Stangs
    • Set of 4 Polyurethane Bushings
    • Fits 1985-2004 Mustangs
Offset Design. If you have a lowered 1985 to 2004 Mustang, a set of offset polyurethane bushings will raise your steering rack to correct your front suspension geometry and reduce bumpsteer.

Improves Handling. By reducing steering rack deflection, polyurethane bushings deliver quicker, crisper steering response and better control over your Mustang for better overall handling.

Polyurethane Construction. Unlike your worn-out factory rubber bushings which create a "sloppy" feel, polyurethane bushings will tighten up your steering column so your handling feels sharper and more exact.

Application. This set of 4 bushings is designed for all lowered 1985-2004 Mustangs.

Is there a need for the Steeda bumpsteer kit if you have these bushings? The description of the bushing sounds like it reduces but does not eliminate bumpsteer. Will the adjustable Steeda kit ( improve this or eliminate it altogether? Are both a good idea? Thanks.

    • No, and Steeda states not to use this with a bump steer kit. One or the other. :)

Does the Steeda offset rack bushings fit a Maximum motorsports k member ?

I am getting a little bit of popping from the front of my car when turning left or right sharply while driving slow. I suspect that it is the str. rack bushings. I have Ford B Springs installed (lowered my car about an inch front and back). Should I purchase the offset steering rack bushings or the standard??

    • These would be the ideal setup for a lowered vehicle to improve handling and reduce Bumpsteer.

      Steeda rack bushing lowering

Product is made well and does a great job as replacements for anyone who lowers the front end of their vehicle. Bushings allow adjustment of the height of the rack on the kmember. Steeda offset rack bushings keep rack in line with tie rods and keeps the inner tie rods from premature wear. Takes an hour to replace with basic hand tools and drive on ramps.

Steeda provides just what I need.

I did not install the bushings myself but the shop said they were very straightforward and look to put all my suspension back where it needs to be.

      No longer wandering steering

My stang is lowered so I picked these up instead of the non offset ones. I doubt these will slip as a rubber mallet was needed to install the sleeve back into the middle. Slot of very hard hits to get it all the way in. No more windy day feel in the steering. Move the wheel at all and the car starts to turn! No slop!. I hope the feeling lasts.

Offset bushings may eliminate bump steer

I have no way to tell if I was going to get bump steer but it was cheap insurance as I had the car on the hoist. The handling is excellent with the staggered tires and lowering.

      Very stiff material.

These are a lot stiffer than the stock bushings. Therefore there should be minimal movement on the rack increasing handling. Only downside is that they are a little difficult to install, just because they have no give. Just be patient and they will go on.

      not too shabby

My car is lowered on h&r supersports. I began to hate driving my mustang because of the odd way the wheel would jump around in my hands. But these Tightened my front end up rather nicely, I'm not fighting my steering wheel too much anymore. Car still follows the ruts in the road, but hey. Better than it was before these! Great product, fast shipping, nice price. Thanks AM!!!

Great buy when lowering your stang

Bushings seemed to be made of quality materials. They raise your steering rack about a half inch. I installed these along with H&R SS springs and i have not noticed and bumpsteer problems. I noticed slightly better steering response in corners. My assessments were made at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

      improved steering and alignment

Awesome product got the part super quick. I looked at a lot of reviews about lowering my stang. This is a must have to get proper alignment. Works great I had them installed when I got my alignment. Told the shop to use loctite (red) to keep the bushings from moving under tight cornering. I've had them in for 3 months no problems whatsoever. Definitely feel a difference in handling. The old ones where all worn out. Little things like this keep the big things working how there suppose to. Thanks AM.
