    More Power. A set of Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Cylinder Heads are the perfect way to increase the power and torque of your daily driven or street Mustang. These performance heads deliver about a 10:1 compression ratio on the factory short block, depending on the piston used.

    Twisted Wedge. The increase in power comes from Trick Flows unique Twisted Wedge combustion chamber design that moves the intake valve to the opposite side of the camshaft. The benefit is a dramatic increase in mid-lift airflow and increased piston-to-valve and valve-to-bore clearance that allow higher lift cams and larger diameter valves to be installed without the need to alter bore size or flycutting pistons.

    Features. These Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Cylinder Heads feature OE PI-style intake inlets, patented Fast As Cast intake/exhaust runners that deliver near CNC-ported airflow, fully CNC-profiled combustion chambers, bulletproof 3/4" thick decks, four-bolt replaceable cam bearing journals, full 3/4"-reach spark plugs, 1.840"/1.450" valves, powdered metal valve guides, ductile iron valve seats, lightweight chromemoly retainers and die-forged locks, beehive valve springs, and Viton fluoroelastomer valve seals.

    Application. These 38cc Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Cylinder Heads are designed to be a direct bolt-on performance upgrade for the 1996 to 2004 GT Mustangs with the 4.6L 2-valve Romeo or Windsor V8 engine. Technical Note: Accepts all Romeo and Windsor valve covers plus most stock style Ford front covers.
