How to Install True Edge Rivetz Fender Flares - Smooth Finish on your F-150

Qty (34) Allen Bolt, Nut & Washer (Hex Key required)

1. Pre-Installation

1. Prefit and ensure both left (driver) side & right (passenger) side fender flare to the vehicle before painting or installation.

2. You may remove any moldings, strips or existing flares from the vehicle for fitting and installation.



2. Paint Flare(Optional)

1. Hire a professional painter or body shop and follow the paint manufacturer specifiactions to paint the flares.

2. Clean all fender flare surface with clean water & a mild detergent before paint, don't use lacquer thinner or any solvent based product


3. Clean Vehicle Body & Fender Flare

1. Wash and wipe dry the areas of contact on the vehicle body.

2. Clean the surface and inside edge of the fender flare where the rubber seal is to be attached.


4. Apply Rubber Seal

Remove about 1 inch tape liner from rubber seal and apply it on the flare, start one end and along the edge that comes in contact with body panel, apply pressure on the tape to ensure that it adheres well, trim excess rubber seal and so on.


5. Installation (Left Front Shown)

1. Remove the five existing factory screws with proper wrench.

2. Remove the two rear most existing factory screws with proper wrench and save the screws for reinstallation later.

6. Installation (Left Front Inner Piece Shown)

1. Install 3 U-Clip over the holes on the inner piece as shown.


7. Installation (Left Front Inner Piece Shown)

1. Ensure to have the right inner piece and knowing the way to install first, and line up the holes on inner piece and 3 uppermost factory holes.

2. Use the proper wrench to reinstall 3 factory screws, through the holes on the inner piece into the the factory holes.

8. Installation (Left Front Shown)

1. Use Hex Key to tight alien bolt & nut firmly on every pocket of the fender flare, as top shown.

2. Apply 3 Flange Screws through inner piece, into U-Clip and secure it to the vehicle on the uppermost holes, as shown.


9. Installation (Left Rear Shown)

1. Remove one factory retainer from rear of whell well (under), and discard.

10. Installation (Left Rear Shown)

1. Use Hex Key to tight alien bolt & nut firmly on every pocket of the fender flare, as top shown.

2. Place the flare on the vehicle with best position, mark the five hole locations into the vehicle.


11. Installation (Left Rear Shown)

1. Remove the flare, apply four long clip over the marks, from inside toward to outside, as shown.

2. Install a S-Clip on the lower front of the rear wheel well, aling with the mark made in step 14.

12. Installation (Left Rear Shown)

1. Secure the flare with four Truss Type screws into the long clip, start the two screws on the two topmost holes, as top shown.

2. Apply 1 Truss Machine Screw into the S-Clip installed in step 16.

3. Apply one Plastic Fastener into flare and through the same factory hole in step 13.


Optional B: The included self tapping screw may be used for extra secure if needed.
