More Power. 2015-2017 5.0L Coyote GT Mustangs made a truly impressive 435 Horsepower and 400 lb/ft of Torque at the crank. However, you can make even more power after installing a VMP GEN II-R 2.3L TVS Stage 2 Supercharger Kit. With this Stage 2 VMP Kit installed you will make well over 600 horsepower at the rear wheels allowing you to unleash the beast out on the street or on the track.

Stage 2 VMP GEN II-R Kit. This Stage 2 Kit comes with a VMP GENII-R 2.3L TVS supercharger, upper and lower intake manifolds, an air-to-water intercooler with pump and lines, a VMP twin fan triple pass heat exchanger, a PMAS 120mm cold air intake, a VMP twinjet 67mm throttle body, a 82mm supercharger pulley making 10psi of boost, OEM Style 56 lb/hr fuel injectors, VMP Plug-n-Play Fuel Pump Booster and a 1st shiv HD belt system with tensioner, belt and idlers.

New High-flow Technology. The VMP GEN II-R supercharger features VMP's GEN II-R Supercharger Design that features a unique inlet and outlet for additional volume and better efficiency to deliver more power and increased fuel economy in a smaller package for uncompromising performance. This uses Eaton's all-new "2nd GEN R" Twin Vortices Series technology (TVS) positive displacement supercharger featuring twin four-lobe rotors that are twisted 160-degrees to greatly enhance thermal efficiency, enabling higher volume capacity, and higher operational speeds.

One Level 2 VMP Custom Tune. When you order this VMP Stage 2 GEN II-R 2.3L TVS Supercharger, you aren't just getting a supercharger - you are getting the supercharger and one Level 2 custom tune file (for an SCT device) that is written specifically for your Mustang and your particular modifications by a VMP Tuning specialist. VMP Tuning even provides up to three post sale data log reviews/revisions (if necessary) to assure your Pony is running healthy and strong.

Required Upgrade. Installation of this VMP Supercharger will require an SCT Hand Held Tuning Device for operation (not included - sold separately). If you don't already own a SCT Tuner, you can easily purchase one from AmericanMuscle.

Not CARB Certified. This Supercharger Kit is not CARB certified, therefore they are not legal for use in California or any other state adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; intended for off road race use only.

Application. This VMP GENII-R 2.3L TVS Stage 2 Supercharger Kit is specifically designed for use on the 2015-2017 GT Mustangs equipped with the 5.0L 4V Coyote V8 engine. Fits both manual and automatic transmissions.

          Money well spent

          I fell in love the moment I saw my 2016 CS GT. The only thing it was missing (IMHO) was the ability to totally annihilate anything sitting next to me at my choosing. Well, VMP has a solution for that. The VMP GEN II-R 2.3 TVS Stage 2 kit has everything you need to permanently plaster a smile on your face. It installs neatly, looks like factory to me, runs reliably, and has not disappointed in the least. My car is now putting down 626 rwhp, and I couldn't be happier. In order to handle that power reliably, I opted for DSS's one-piece aluminum driveshaft, a number of IRS upgrades, the Ford Performance Street Handling Pack, and a little help from Corsa. This combination gives the car the perfect sound, performance, reliability, and handling. Lastly, the TVS is not too loud - I wish it was a little louder, and the dual fans reduce intake air temp by ~100 degrees (not one hint of heat-related issues). Trust me, this upgrade is well worth the time and money. Don't forget to upgrade your half-shafts if you plan to track it or put drag radials on it. Personally, I am happy with my stock shafts as my preference is spin (1st - 3rd) and chirp (4th) at will. My shop warned me I would likely snap the stock shafts if I do anything to ensure I launch it really hard. Thanks AM for having all the right parts and videos / information to have guided me in what to get and what to expect when I got it all.
