Unleash the Mighty Serpent. Are you a Shelby owner that is looking to add more tire shredding power to the rear wheels of your GT500? Then you may be interested in VMP's GEN II 2.3L TVS Supercharger Head Unit. Just by swapping out your factory blower with a GEN II Head Unit you will see an increase of over 200+ horse power at the rear wheels. Those GT500 owners upgrading from VMP's first generation TVS will see an increase of 51 horse power at the rear wheels.

New High-flow Technology. VMP's GENII Supercharger was re-designed to fix the short comings of their first generation head unit. VMP capitalizes on Eaton's 2nd GEN Twin Vortices Series (TVS) positive displacement supercharger technology. Eaton's TVS design features a pair of four-lobe rotors that are twisted at 160-degrees to increase thermal efficiency, which allows for larger volume capacity and higher operational speeds. VMP Tuning improves on Eaton's design by integrated the intake plenum elbow into the all new one-piece shell design and by increasing the blowers interior volume for an 18% improvement in airflow when compared to the first generation VMP TVS Blower.

15 to 23 PSI. This VMP GEN II TVS Supercharger will produce up to 15 psi of boost with a 2.75" upper pulley and stock lower crank pulley installed. However it can even handle up to an amazing 23 psi of boost pressure with a 2.4" upper pulley and a 15% overdrive lower crank pulley installed.

Required Upgrade. Installation of this VMP Supercharger Head Unit will require an SCT SF3/X3 or SF4/X4 Hand Held Tuner and a VMP Tuning Supercharger Tune File for operation (sold separately). If you already own a SCT Tuner you can purchase the required tune files (Click Here). If you don't already own a SCT Tuner, you can easily purchase one using the option above that already includes 3 VMP Supercharger Tunes.

Your Choice of Pulley. The VMP GEN II 2.3L TVS Supercharger Head Unit is available with your choice of pulley size. Choose from 2.40", 2.50", 2.65" or 2.75". Please select your application from options listed above.

Application. This VMP GEN II 2.3L TVS Supercharger Head Unit Upgrade is designed as a direct fit performance upgrade for the 2007 to 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustangs equipped with the Supercharged 5.4L DOHC V-8 engine.

What all is included in this kit? Is it just a swap of the factory blower to this one? Any injectors or anything else included

    • The VMP GEN II 2.3L TVS Supercharger Head Unit Upgrade will be just the head unit and your choice of pulley. You would simply just swap this out for the stock head unit. Larger injectors would be recommended to get as well.

If replacing just the head unit not the injectors the driver side fuel rail DOES not need to be removed. It needs to be bolted on before the unit goes on the car as the elbow is in one piece. Recommended to use bigger injectors and fuel pump booster.
