Unleash 295 More Horses. The stock 2011-2014 5.0L 4V Coyote Mustangs came with an awesome 420 Horsepower and 400 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but with a VMP GENII Stage 1 Supercharger Kit installed that number jumps to an astounding 715 horsepower, that's nearly 295 more ponies over stock!

Monstrous blower kit, VMP style. This complete package transforms your GT into a track-shredding beast. Kit comes complete with a VMP GENII 2.3L TVS supercharger with black finish, upper and lower intake manifolds, an air-to-water intercooler, a VMP Triple Pass Heat Exchanger, an oversized coolant degas bottle, a JLT 123mm Plastic cold air intake system, a twin 60mm throttle body with matching spacer, a 85mm supercharger pulley making 9psi of boost and Ford OEM Style 56 lb/hr fuel injectors.

New High-flow Technology. The VMP GENII supercharger features VMP's GENII Supercharger Design that features a unique inlet and outlet for additional volume and better efficiency to deliver more power and increased fuel economy in a smaller package for uncompromising performance. This uses Eaton's all-new "2nd GEN" Twin Vortices Series technology (TVS) positive displacement supercharger featuring twin four-lobe rotors that are twisted 160-degrees to greatly enhance thermal efficiency, enabling higher volume capacity, and higher operational speeds.

Required Upgrade. Installation of this VMP Supercharger will require an SCT SF3/X3 or SF4/X4 Hand Held Tuner and a VMP Tuning Supercharger Tune File for operation (sold separately). If you already own a SCT Tuner you can purchase the required tune files here or with the option listed above. If you don't already own a SCT Tuner, you can easily purchase one using the option above that already includes 3 VMP Supercharger Tunes.

Application. This VMP GENII Stage 1 Supercharger Kit is specifically designed for use on the 2011-2014 GT Mustangs equipped with the 5.0L 4V Coyote engine. Fits both manual and automatic transmissions.

**Please Note: The custom tune files will be emailed directly to the end user within 5-7 business days from VMP Tuning. Submit your Mustang's Info Here!

Why does the vmp claim more hp than the roush when they're virtually the same? What makes it better?

    • The VMP Stage 1 Gen II 2.3L TVS 715HP Supercharger will include several enhancements over the Roush Supercharger, only sharing the base TVS2300 blower between the kits. The Biggest differences will come from the more aggressive tune from VMP, supercharger pulley size, and supporting components such as injectors, to allow for more aggressive tuning, and squeezing the most power out of the setup.

I have the Superchips 93 Octane tune on my car. So I have a Superchips Tuner...They have internet tune upgrade capability. Could I get the correct tune emailed to me with Superchips?

    • You would need a tuner to write a tune for you. So a companylike VMP or Brenspeed theat specilize in aftermarket boosted applications.

Does the installation of this kit on a car with an oil cooler cause an issue? I have a 2014 GT with the track pack and I am trying to find the best supercharger to work with the oil cooler I have from the factory. Thank you

    • The VMP Stage 1 Gen II 2.3L TVS 715HP Supercharger should not have issues working with the oil cooler on your Mustang.

I have a bone stock 14 gt with 5000 miles and a auto transmission. Would this be a safe kit for me? Would I need to upgrade anything else before I install this supercharger? Will my transmission need to be beefed-up? Thanks

    • The VMP Stage 1 Gen II 2.3L TVS 715HP Supercharger will be a complete kit and will come with everything needed to bolt up to your car. The only thing that would be needed would be a custom tune. A recommended upgrade but not needed would be a one-piece driveshaft.

I’m running on a Lund tune with a ngauge, will I be able to get a retune from Lund if not how will this work if I chose to get this blower. Also would it be bad to run a supercharger with a motor that has 80,000 miles?

    • You will be able to get a re-tune though Lund however there will be a fee by Lund to do this. Also as long as your car has been taken care off the supercharger on your car would be just fine.

      Love that sound

I love the supercharger system. I'm a mechanic and the directories are a little hard for me to even understand. So I would recommend a professional installation if you are not a mechanic. I'm not sure if it's putting out the 715hp it says it dose, but it's got a nice punch to it...

      VMP stage 1

First off I wish I put one of these in a long time ago! The install went smooth, I took my time and in a few days of working on it every night the kit was in. I had a minor problem, vmp and American muscle got it rectified for me. This kit is a night and day difference from stock. You won't regret hitting add to cart and checking out!

      Torque Monster!

Because I don't race, and I did not like how all the power was up top in the RPMs, I switched from a centrifugal supercharger to a TVS for street use. This VMP kit is fantastic! Fitment was excellent, and it comes with all new hoses and plug/play wiring harnesses making install relatively easy. The torque with these TVS/roots blowers is a blast on the street, and you'll be in boost off idle with a quick stab of the throttle. The driveability is MUCH better than my previous setup with the blow-through MAF setup. My car is so much more fun to drive now, it's just a BEAST! I paired it with a VMP custom tune as well.

      Best bang for the buck

When I first saw this supercharger on AM I was skeptical. 715 hp for $6300? Can't be. Plus I had never heard of Vmp. After talking to a tech at AM, who actually had this piece on his car, I was sold. And man am I glad I listened to him. Car makes incredible power. It's a real sleeper. You can't even hear the blower until you open it up. Check to make sure the heat exchanger pump is working before you put the bumper cover back on. It needs to be primed. Vmp was great. Fuel injectors were not in the box but they overnighted them to me so I could finish the install. They also revised the tune twice from my datalogs. It also looks great under the hood, like it belongs there. No other blower is going to make this much power for this price. If you're on the fence just pull the trigger and do it

Turns your mustang into a beast

First lets start with how it looks: awesome!! Looks great in black. Nice and subtle, not too fancy, just looks like it belongs there. As far as installation, 2 of my buddies did it a few hours a night in their garage. I wasn't there for every hour but it went pretty smoothly. Make sure you get color copies of instructions from the link. If you have an 11 or early production 12(like mine) you will be doing some modification to the timing cover. Just some grinding, nothing crazy. You def don't have to be a machinist to do it. Also, all the 11 and 12s need some cutting of the inside bumper cover for the intercooler to fit. Once again nothin major. 13 and 14s don't require any cutting. The only thing that wasn't in the instructions was to prime the pump for the intercooler. I found out mine wasn't on when Vmp looked at my datalog. No biggy. Just had to take it off the bracket, hold it upside down with the hoses connected and car running. Just remember to do this before you put front of car back on. Now as far as performance, this car flys!! My only other mods(besides suspension) are a 3in x pipe and car back. On the street I can't get it to hook from a dead stop but from a roll? Watch out. You blink your eyes and you're doing 120. The guys at Vmp are very knowledgeable and patient. They made some small tweaks to the tune from the datalog I sent them and they're looking over the datalog from the revised tune now. So that's some piece of mind for you knowing everything is running right. Highly recommend this blower setup.

      Best kit on the market!

I have to say I was a bit "blown" away when I opened the box of the GenII blower. It absolutely massive! I've known about these blower by VMP for awhile and had kept my eye out on what others were doing with other supercharger systems to see and compare which route I wanted to go. I've seen these and others in person but after actually seeing this kit in person with a few upgrades make 871 HP to the rear tires I knew this was the kit for me. you will have to grind down some parts of the timing cover to allow the belt to have an unobstructed channel in which it will run through. The fact this kit can be installed in a weekend is awesome. I can wait to see what the car does this summer at the track.
