Unleash 350 More Horses. The stock 2015-2017 5.0L 4V Coyote Mustang comes with an awesome 435 Horsepower and 400 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but with a VMP GEN II-R Stage 3 Supercharger Kit installed that number jumps to an astounding 785 horsepower, that's nearly 350 more ponies over stock and comes with all of the components required to run on E85 fuel! The VMP Stage 3 Kit is able to make its extra power, when compared to the Stage 2 Kit, by upgrading to a VMP Twin Jet 67mm Throttle Body and Injector Dynamics ID1000 (96lb/hr) Fuel Injectors.

VMP Custom Tunes. When you order this VMP Stage 3 GEN II-R 2.3L TVS Supercharger, you aren't just getting a supercharger - you are getting the supercharger and one custom SCT email tune that is written specifically for your Mustang and your particular modifications by VMP Tuning. VMP Tuning even provides two post sale data log reviews (if necessary) to assure your Pony is running healthy and strong. A SCT SF3/X3 or SF4/X4 Tuner is required.

Monstrous blower kit, VMP style. This complete package transforms your GT into a track-shredding beast. Kit comes complete with a VMP GEN II-R 2.3L TVS supercharger with black finish, upper and lower intake manifolds, an air-to-water intercooler, a low temp radiator, an oversized coolant degas bottle, a 110mm ROUSH® cold air intake system, a VMP Twin Jet 67mm throttle body with matching spacer, a 82mm supercharger pulley making 10psi of boost, a VMP Boost-a-Pump and Injector Dynamics ID1000 (96lb/hr) fuel injectors.

New High-flow Technology. The VMP GEN II-R supercharger features VMP's GEN II-R Supercharger Design that features a unique inlet and outlet for additional volume and better efficiency to deliver more power and increased fuel economy in a smaller package for uncompromising performance. This uses Eaton's all-new "2nd GEN R" Twin Vortices Series technology (TVS) positive displacement supercharger featuring twin four-lobe rotors that are twisted 160-degrees to greatly enhance thermal efficiency, enabling higher volume capacity, and higher operational speeds.

Required Upgrade. The installation of the included VMP Custom Tune will require the use of an SCT SF3/X3 or SF4/X4 Hand Held Tuner (not included). If you don't already own a SCT Tuner, you can easily purchase one using the option above.

Application. This VMP GEN II-R Stage 3 Supercharger Kit is specifically designed for use on the 2015-2017 GT Mustangs equipped with the 5.0L 4V Coyote engine. Fits both manual and automatic transmissions.

I noticed the description says, it goes with a VMP Tuner, does that mean, when installed, it will NOT REQUIRED A DYNO TUNE? Thanks.

  • In order for everything to work properly, you are going to need a custom VMP tune. The tune is included in the kit price, but it does require an SCT tuner. If you do not have an SCT tuner already, you can go with the SCT SF4 Power Flash Tuner (96-17 All), item # 101635, ( The custom tune will then be emailed to you and you can download it onto the tuner. After all is said and done, you do not need to get the car dyno tuned. It will already have the appropriate tune that will make the car function properly with the supercharger.

Same thing except will it fit under the k-brace on the cali special?

  • The VMP Stage 3 Gen II 2.3L TVS 785HP Supercharger (15-17 GT) will not fit under the K-brace on the California specials or GTs.

  • No it will not fit under the strut tower brace that comes with the performance pack.

Is there a strut brace that will fit over this blower? I see there is one shown in the photos but can't find it on the website.

  • We have not confirmed the fitment of a strut tower brace for this VMP Stage 3 GEN II-R 2.3L TVS. This is something that made need to be custom fabricated.

  • The VMP Stage 3 GEN II-R 2.3L TVS 785HP Supercharger Kit does not come with any spark plugs.

    Incredible power gain!

    You definitively need a spare underpant the first time you run this The power gain is phenomenal, worth every hours worked on... Kit come complete with all hose and wire, no need to splice a wire or cut tube, all part fit nicely in place. The only negative point is the installation instruction. we found that it could be a bit more detailed on step with photo. Some info are just not right and you have to figured it out yourself. Roush have some pretty instruction though but not all step all common to both supercharger.

    This kit is complete. He does not need anything. In the dyno gave 638hp in the wheels and 520 of torque with gasoline 93octanos. Pure power . You will need some drag tires to use all that power otherwise you will not be able to pull it out of the hole.
