What's going on, guys? I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com, and this is my quick review and install of the Weathertech TechLiner tailgate liner, fitting your 2015 and 2016 F-150. In this video, I'm gonna talk about the construction and materials used on this tailgate liner, as well as the installation, which I will hit on later in the video. But right off the bat, I'm gonna be giving this a very, very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You should have this on your tailgate in about 5 to 10 minutes, tops. All right, guys, so this is going to appeal to the truck owner that's looking to protect their tailgate from any type of gear you may be hauling out or putting in, be it a bike, kayak, gear, lumber, you name it, and this is gonna be a great option, in my opinion, as a roll-on type of bed liner or a spray-on can be sometimes costly. All right, guys, so in regards to the construction here, Weathertech has this made up of a tough, durable, and lightweight thermoplastic elastomer, which is evident in my hands, just by having it right here. Now, this is gonna hold up really well in the harsher winter months, as well as being flexible during the summer, so you can rest easy knowing that this is not going to fade, as well as break, over time. All right, guys, so I do wanna add that this is gonna be made up of the same type of soft-touch material just like the Weathertech bed liner, which I would definitely suggest checking out, so you can rest easy knowing that if you're gonna be ripping around, anything and everything is gonna stay in place while you're on the road. All right, guys, so in terms of pricing here, we're gonna see this tailgate liner fall in line right around the $70 price range, which, in my opinion, is a huge bang for the buck, considering you're gonna be getting a part that's made in the U.S. that's sure to hold up over time against the elements or very, very rough use.Now in terms of the installation here, guys, like I said in the beginning of the video, this is going to be a very, very easy install, and you're gonna be looking at about one outta 3 wrenches and 5 to 10 minutes tops, getting this installed on your tailgate. All right, guys, so just to hit this home again, this is gonna be an incredibly easy install, and all you're gonna need is simply a quarter-inch bit, which is going to come supplied with this kit, as well as six plastic shoulder washers and three plastic extrusion pieces that are gonna go right up front, that will attach to your bed. Again, a very easy one out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter, and about 5 to 10 minutes in your driveway. Now, one last thing I would add before installing this, is you definitely wanna make sure that your tailgate's dry so no type of moisture builds up in between the liner and your gate. All right, guys, so just to wrap things up here, I really like this option from Weathertech, not only because I would put one of these on my own truck, but because you're gonna be protecting your tailgate from any type of debris or materials that you're gonna be lugging in or out. So that's my review and install of the Weathertech TechLiner tailgate liner, fitting the 2015, 2016 F-150, right here at americanmuscle.com.
