The stock 4.6L Mustang GT came with an respectable 300 Horsepower and 320 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installing a Polished Whipple Supercharger you will be planting a ground pounding 550 Horsepower and 542 lb/ft of Torque to the pavement. That is 250 more horsepower over stock!

Complete Kit. This Whipple Industries Mustang Supercharger System comes with all the required parts needed to upgrade your Steed into a fire breathing Beast. The kit features a Twin Screw Supercharger, 0-Degree Ford Racing Spark Plugs, 5" Aluminum Air-to-Water Intercooler, CAI with 9" S&B True-flow Filter, 95mm Mass Air Flow Meter and Fluidyne heat exchanger.

Whipple Calibration. This Whipple Twin Screw Supercharger requires that the vehicle PCM be sent to Whipple for the necessary reprogramming.

50 State Legal. Unlike the competitors kits, the Whipple Intercooled Mustang Supercharger Kit is 50 state emissions legal.

Application. This Polished Whipple Supercharger System is designed for use on the 2005 to 2010 4.6L GT Mustangs with a manual transmission. Choose your year from the drop down option above.

Is this legal to use in California?

Cams, tune and hood fit Will this unit work with the Comp Cams Mother Thumper 2 cams or would I have to go back to the stock cams? Does tis unit come with a tuner and tune or would I need a to use my SCT and tune from American Muscle? Does this unit fit under the stock hood?

Yes it can be tuned to work with Mother Thumper 2 Cams. Yes it's equipped with a tuner package deal and No unless you prefer to use your preowned tuner and work it out with AM. Yes it will fit under stock hood easily.
It does fit under the stock hood. You made need to go back to stock cams or get some blower cams. It will not work well with n/a cams. I don't know about the tuner, but when putting on any type of supercharge application you want to get a dyno tune.

Can I still use my tower brace? I have a 2008 Bullitt, will this supercharger fit under the stock tower brace? Can I use the cold air intake that came with the Bullitt or do I need to change it with the one in the kit?

I have the 624 HP Ford Racing Supercharger Kit on my 2013 Ford Mustang GT. You will not be able to use your strut bar, nor do I don't think you will be able to find a replacement that will fit over the supercharger and still clear the hood. The kit will come with a new throttle body and air box. The tubes and throttle are oval in shape, making it difficult to install another intake filter... and this is why I decided to stick with the intake that came with the kit. Can you sell or put together the stand alone intercooler kit for this SC? I have this SC but without the intercooler. If not, is whipple the next place to go for the upgrade kit?

Can I use this kit with stock engine internals ? Thanks.

This kit will work with the factory internals in your Mustang, however the safe limit on the stock pistons and rods is around 450hp, so it would be recommended to look into an upgrade if you were driving the car hard.

My '05 GT has this 550 hp Whipple kit. The docs say it came with a dual fuel pump. I'm looking for a replacement, just in case. The closest I can find is M-9407-GT05, but that's an entire kit. I just want the pump. Do you sell it separately or know the FRPP PN? Thanks. 1 answer

We currently do not offer the fuel pump from the Whipple W140AX 2.3L Intercooled Supercharger Kit separately. The closest would be the Ford Performance High Performance Dual Fuel Pump Kit, item # 50140, (https://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-fuel-pump-0509gt.html).

Can it handle more than 11 pounds of boost? 1 answer

The Whipple W140AX 2.3L Intercooled Supercharger Kit is capable of supporting higher boost levels, however you would need to consult with Whipple to determine the maximum safe boost acheivable with your setup and this blower.

Have a 2010 GT Manual. Upgrated from stock i have a C L Cold Air Filter, Ford Racing throttle body, and ford racing Intake manifold. On the exhaust i have kooks long tube headers and kooks offload x pipe with magna flow racing mufflers will this supercharger work with the above? I'm sure the intake section might have to be removed. everything else is stock, will i have to get other parts to support the horsepower gains? 1 answer

The Whipple Intercooled Supercharger Kit will be able to reuse all of your parts with the exception of the cold air intake.

The Whipple Intercooled Supercharger Kit can be used with stock cams, however a set of cams designed for use with superchargers (blower cams) will provide significant performance increases over your stock cams.

You will not need to upgrade anything on the lower end as this supercharger is a complete kit.

Does this kit use the stock airbox or have a conical filter? The customer pics show stock airbox but then the mfr info calls out the conical filter. 1 answer

You can use either a stock airbox or a cold air intake with 9" S&B true flow filter.

Incredible S/C kit

This is an amazing mod. HUGE horsepower gains will have you well over 450 at the rear wheels. The kit is very complete and high quality. All went together very well. AmericanMuscle notes (even after I brought it to their attention) that the kit comes with a flash programmer, which is incorrect. After several calls to AM and Ford Racing I ended up having to send my PCM to Whipple. No big deal, but it'd be nice if AM would list it correctly so you know what you're getting (especially since this issue has been brought to their attention...). In any case, this thing sounds GREAT, very loud whine. It feels great and pulls like crazy. It looks great and everything fit my GT as it was supposed to. Highly recommended
