Here at American Muscle, we're all about DIY (do it yourself). Of course, there's nothing wrong with seeking out a little bit of tech help prior to taking on an installation on your own. Our Mustang installation guides will provide valuable instructions and hopefully answer any how-to questions that you may have along the way.

Tools you will need:

• Any surface cleaner (Soap and water will do)
• Micro fiber Towel (Or soft drying cloth)
• Alcohol Wipes (Included)
• Tail Light Covers (Included)

Smoked Tail Light Cover

Installation:

1. Remove the tail light covers from their protective padding and clean with surface cleaner. Make sure its clean so there is no specs between the cover and your tail light. This will make your finished product look much cleaner.


2. Open your trunk lid and clean entire tail light housing on your car. Ensure the contact area for the double sided tape is clean and ready to be adhered to. Use the Alcohol Wipes that came with your purchase to prepare the covers to be applied to the housing.


3. Remove the plastic strip from the 3M Double Sided Tape already attached to the cover plate. Place the cover onto the tail light starting with the bottom to ensure a nice secure fit. Repeat for the opposite side. Be sure to keep pressure on the cover, to properly secure them to the car.


4. Close the trunk lid and press on the covers to properly fit them on the tail lights. They may slide and move a small bit at first, but that’s normal as they need to snug themselves into your tail lights. Congratulations your ready to step back and enjoy your new purchase.
