2001 Mustang Pictures - '01 Pics

In 2001 the Ford Mustang received most of the upgrades that the 35th anniversary series came with. The raised hood scoop, spoiler, and black-out trim were now standard on all models, and you can check them out in our 2001 Mustang Pictures. 2001 also introduced a new limited run series of the Mustang called the “Bullitt”. The “Bullitt” included unique side scoops, 17 inch American Racing aluminum wheels, lowered suspension, and modified C pillars. A mildly modified 4.6L engine with twin 57mm throttle body, cast aluminium intake manifold, and high-flow mufflers now put out 270hp for the GT. Base coupe or convertible were still offered for the 3.8L V6, 4.6L V8 GT, and Cobra.
