I am the proud owner of a '01 Mustang GT convertible. This is my second Mustang and I have had it since it was new from the factory. I got into a Mustang when I was 19 years old. My first Mustang was a '00 convertible and, unfortunately, it was stolen from my home after 4 months of me owning it. They found it stripped and burned down. That didn't stop me from getting into another Mustang. Soon after, I went and purchased a '01 Mustang GT. I fell in love with this Mustang which was sitting in a local Ford dealership. The color was mineral grey, but there was a problem: I did not know how to drive a 5 speed. I bought this Mustang without even test driving it and had to get it towed back to my home. I had it in my garage for 2 months before I drove it. I learned to drive a 5 speed on my buddy's old Jetta and yes I did burn the hell out of the clutch. It was worth the wait. I enjoyed the Mustang with its stock horsepower for 4 years. Then I took it to its max level.
