2004 would be the last year for this body style, Ford had released press photos of the new design and feared sales may suffer because the upcoming style was so unique. Check out this last style year with our 2004 Mustang Pictures. Their way to combat poor sales was to commemorate this 40th year anniversary with custom badges and color schemes. Two new retro colors; Competition Orange and Screaming Yellow were now available. New buyers of Crimson Red, Black, or Oxford White 3.8L V6 or 4.6L GT had the option for Arizona Beige Metallic performance stripes on the hood and lower rock panels. This would also be the second year Mach 1 package which did not change from the year before.
