This SC is used on my 2010 GT [AUTOMATIC]. Also installed is the ford racing chrome valve covers's [# 24024], Mishimoto Air diversion radiator cover plate [#80240], JLT oil separator [#62027], CDC front lower chin spoiler [#11058-00] .
Had the M90 installed by local Roush dealer [+ roush suspension + Roush boost gauge in AC vent pod]. The M90 blower for the 2010 is a different setup than the 05-09 !! Wiring harness is plug + play, NO splicing. Same spark plugs used. Reservoir bottle [ DE-gas] for the 2010 M90 is DOUBLE the size of the 05-09 bottle. Low temp rad [LTR] is FULL SIZE on the 2010, vs the small LTR rad on the 05-09. Water in the De-gas bottle is stone cold all the time, after extended 'blasting around'. The chin spoiler + Air Diversion plate combo ensures the 4 x front mounted rads all run very cool.[eng/AC/transmission/LTR]. The LTR is at the very front, and de-gas on a 2010 is just to the right of the oem eng rad reservoir bottle....and looks oem. Make sure you install both the catch can AND a K+N air filter. The stock air filter box on a 2010 will flow 800 cfm with a paper filter, and 980 cfm with a K+N. Chrome valve covers look cool..and are easy to install at the same time as the M90.
You can either wind up in each gear, with no boost,OR push a little harder, and bam, instant boost, then hang on for the ride! Back off the gas pedal 2 mm and valve opens, no boost, then the upshift on the auto. Also NO loss of boost BETWEEN shifts, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 ! That alone will ensure you win every time.
Latest Roush calibration is superb on the 2010...esp with the K+N filter. The Roush tune also firms up the AUTO shift points. It's so drivable and totally transparent, my wife would never know there was a blower installed. Dead flat TQ curve..and globs of low end TQ, you have to learn how to feather the gas pedal.
I use 275/40-18 Nitto-555 on the rear. The M90 is LIGHT vs the E-force. [ 85 vs 176 lbs shipping weight]. Roush nailed it with the 2010 version. Roush's TVS will NOT work with any Automatic, only standard. If you want to see BMW's going backwards in your mirror, this is the ticket. Last week, I smoked a neighbour's $153K porsche, he was not happy, blew his doors right off..[I could out corner him as well]. I have not lost once yet. The extra passing power is superb. Gas mileage is still the same. The one piece Al drive shaft goes in next month. The M90 is a HUGE bang for the buck. 50-100 mph is just a few seconds. 0-60 mph with an auto is lightning quick. Shut OFF the traction control when it's dry out..and ON when it's raining. I don't use boost when wet out.
Roush strut brace will NOT fit a 2010 M90! Apparently somebody makes one that does fit.
