Description
75MM Throttle Body. Perfect for heavily modified or supercharged Mustangs, this generously sized 75mm throttle body and plenum opens up the intake flow to give your engine the air it needs to make more power. Not intended for stock and mildly modified GT's as they do not flow enough air to benefit from the larger 75mm Throttle Body. Premium Quality. All of the components of this combo kit are made from the highest quality, lightest weight materials that are all CNC machined for precision. The throttle body is billet aluminum and the plenum is cast aluminum, both polished to a brilliant, mirror-quality finish. This combo looks almost as great sitting under your hood as it performs on the street or strip.

Application. This Accufab 75mm Throttle Body and Plenum Combo Kit is designed specifically for use on the 1996 to 2004 GT Mustangs equipped with the SOHC 4.6L V8.

Technical Notes. Idle Speed should only be set by adjusting the Throttle Position Sensor. DO NOT adjust any screws on the Throttle Body. These screws are pre-set at Accufab.

Would this work best with a AirRaid CAI? i have the AirRaid CAI installed into my car & would like to get this combo, would this one work/fit best or would the 70mm combo work/ fit better?

  • Technically, both the 70mm and the 75mm TB and Plenum Combo's will fit with your Airaid CAI. What you need to consider are the other mods done to the car, as well as what you plan on doing in the near future. This 75mm combo is ideally for supercharged applications that need as much air as possible or a heavily modified mustang. The 70mm combo is perfect if you have a mild to moderate number of bolt ons. It gives you more air flow without being too much. If you are planning to do some heavy modding, I'd suggest running this 75mm combo. If you are leaning toward mild to moderate upgrades, the 70mm would be your best option!

  • You won't notice that much of a difference in MPG but would be a great buy, if your looking for a little more horsepower, this is a great start but to get the most of this combo you should add a tune.

    great for the money

    August 19, 2009

I installed it in about a half an hour without really any problems. I can really notice more power at about 3 thousand rmps. It did take a few minutes for the computer to notice the more air flow and it stuck at around 2 thousand rpms. After that it worked great. It made the sound of my exhaust a little deaper.

Didnt get my TB or Plenum from AM. I'm new to the Mustang Mod scene and used the instructional video provided to guide me along the installation process. Very detailed, very helpful, everything fits right, now my 04 GT has a little more pep in its step. Thanks AM.

    Great Buy

    April 20, 2010

First off, I ordered this on a Monday evening and recieved it Wednesday. Very fast shipping. I love the TB/Plenum combo. Greatly improved throttle response as well as some more "go" at the higher RPMs. Very pleased with the results.

This is a sweet combo. I bolted it right up with my intake spacer and noticed a big difference once I turned the key.

i installed this combo on my 03 GT. looks great and i can really feel the extra power at high rpms, just can get the computer to recognize the more air flow so it revs high at idle and in between gears.

    75 mm TB AND PLENUM

    February 22, 2011

i bought this product about a year ago and had nothing but problems with it.... i saw great hp and tq gains in the high end droped alittle tq in the low though. but the car has had idleing problems since day one. i contacted accufab and they were no help. i even had the car tuned and it just got worse. now the car sits at about 1500 rpms at a complete stop and if you let off the gas with it in gear its like the car is driving with cruise control on all the time. save your money and go with the trick flow or c&l intake.
