Increase horsepower and torque. Airaid Cold Air Intake Systems are computer designed to give your engine maximum air flow, which translates to more horsepower, torque and improved fuel efficiency. Airaid intakes are dyno tested and tuned for maximum performance and efficiency.

Superior Filtration. This cold air intake not only improves horsepower, but it also provides superior air filtration, since it includes an Airaid Premium Filter with SynthaFlow® technology. SynthaFlow® is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles down to 2 microns in size that ordinary cotton-gauze “performance” filters just can’t capture. And best of all Airaid Premium Filters are washable and re-usable saving you money.

CARB Certified. Best of all this Airaid Mustang FIPK Air Intake Kit is 50-state smog legal under Carb EO# D-609-2 for April 2005 through 2006 GT models, 2007 to 2009 pending approval.

Application. This Airaid kit is designed to fit the 2005-2009 Mustang GT with no computer re-tune required when installed with the included "Modular Venturi Tube". A must have for anyone wanting that feeling of power, I have always used AIR RAID on all of my mustangs from 04-07. The CAI systems comes with a "Modular Venturi Tube" that can be removed if you have a tuner for even more air gains so you get even more bang for your buck!

This intake is versatile in that it can be run with or without a tune with the insert installed. I have run this intake for a couple months and it definitely sounds good but in actuality you wont be gaining much if any power without a tune. I recently just got a tune for this intake and it makes a huge difference. If you get this intake really consider a tune sooner rather than later. This intake looks great compared to the other intakes as well, it just looks like it belongs. The intake tube diameter with the insert removed is basically the same size as the other tune required intakes. I am extremely satisfied with this intake.

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
