SynthaFlow® is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze “performance” filters just can’t capture. The "ONLY" true sealed cold air box for the GT500. The first thing I noticed from the pictures online is that this was the only CAI kit that had an airbox similar to the "Bullit" design from Ford Racing. Not even Ford Racing's GT500 CAI kit has the complete seal and volume that this Airaid unit provides. I'm not sure if it was the combination of the Ford Racing 49 state stingers and this Airaid kit, but throtle contol and response is incredible compaired to factory. Slow contolled off-idle take offs help eliminate the clutch shutter that is typical to most GT500s. Frome idle to redline it pulls seemlessly, I let off shortly after shifting into 4th at about 130 because I was running out of road, but it was begging for more! (not to mension my EX was crapping her pants...;-)

Looks great. Easy install. No way to verify any of the gains. haven't seen any improvement in mpg.. been about the same. With the power and torque of a GT500 how can you determine with your foot if there really was any gain?

This kit totally seals out the underhood heat which is the problem with other filter kits. Everything fits precisely without issue. All the connections were better quality than the other conical type filter I had before.
