How to Install a BBK Offset Steering Rack Bushings on your 1986-2004 Mustang

! CAUTION!

Use extreme caution under vehicle

1. Remove nuts and thru bolts from steering rack. (See Photo A) .

2. Pry front half of bushings out of steering rack.

3. Using pliers pull out steel sleeves from front of rack.

4. Pry rack forward using large screwdriver and remove rear half of bushings.

5. Make sure rack and new bushings are free from dirt and grease. Install new bushings, insert steel sleeves thru bushings and reattach steering rack. On part #2508 the offset in the bushings should be at 6:00 pOSition (see Photo 8).
