Billet Window Switches Installation Guide

The below installation instructions work for the following products:
  • 1997-2004 Ford Coupe Mustang Polished Window Switches

    Here at American Muscle, we're all about DIY (do it yourself). Of course, there's nothing wrong with seeking out a little bit of tech help prior to taking on an installation on your own. Our Mustang installation guides will provide valuable instructions and hopefully answer any how-to questions that you may have along the way.

    NOTE: The installation process for the coupe and convertible will differ slightly, as the convertible has more switches on the window panel. The removal for these switches; however, is exactly the same as the other window switches on the door panel.
    Tools Required:
    • One Small Flathead Screwdriver
    1. Take your flathead screwdriver and slide it underneath the center of the switch you wish to remove.
    2. Take your thumb and apply pressure downwards on the center of the switch.
    3. As you apply pressure, pull up using the screwdriver. This will pop the factory switch out of place.
    4. Repeat this process with every window switch. For the mirror adjusters, use the same process.
    5. Take your new window switches and just snap them into place, pushing down until you hear the switch "pop" into place.
