How to Install Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust - Dual Side Exit on your F-150

1. Use a 15mm deep well socket, 3” extension, ratchet and 15mm wrench and unbolt the two bolts on the Y Pipe.  Set the 2 factory bolts, 4  washers and 2 locking washer aside to reuse.

2. Loosen the resonator nut with the 15mm socket on the 3” clamp.

3. Twist the resonator clockwise to center to slide the resonator off the muffler.

4. Slide the muffler off the three factory rubber hangers and over the rear axel.

5. Slide the exhaust from under the truck in two pieces.

1. Bolt the resonator to Y pipe loosely using a 15mm deep well and wrench, four washers and two locking washers; do not tighten all the way.

2. Slide a 3” clamp over resonator pipe and slide the extension pipe over the resonator pipe and into the factory rubber hanger, loosely tighten 15mm nut.

3. Slide a 3” clamp on the resonator extension pipe and slide muffler over pipe and into the rubber factory hanger, loosely tighten 15mm nut.

4. Slide 1 - 2” clamp onto each exhaust tip and slide over muffler section. Place in hanger and tighten the 2 - 15mm nuts.

5. Tighten all the clamps and resonator down once the exhaust tips are straight and check for leaks.
