Installation

Kit Components

  • Classic Design Concepts Brake Duct/Air Intake Side Scoops
  • 3M Acrylic automotive bonding tape

Classic Design Concepts, INC. will not be responsible for improperly installed side scoops.

Prior to installation, verify bonding tape surface has not been damaged during the painting process. If tape is damaged, it must be replaced with 3M Acrylic bonding tape for proper adhesion. 3M acrylic tape part#051131-06382

Classic Side Scoops must be installed at a temperature of 70 degrees and above. If necessary, you can heat the area with a heat gun.

Test fit Scoops before painting

Note: To maintain the quality appearance of the product and your vehicles have your side scoops painted by a professional automotive painting facility.

FAILURE OF FOLLOWING THE ABOVE DIRECTIONS MA RESULT IN LOSS OF THIS PRODUCT.

  • Thoroughly clean installation area with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt and wax.

  • Peel red backing on acrylic bonding tape exposing approximately 3" of adhesive on the log tape run.

  • Place scoop onto car, adjust placement for proper fit.

  • Peel red backing from tape and press scoop edges firmly to set tapped edges to car
