Description
Maximum Handling. Give your S197 the handling it should have had from the factory with an Eibach R2 Multi Pro Coil Over suspension kit. This kit gives you the ultimate flexibility in setting up your suspension for maximum traction, perfect balance, and amazing cornering.

Double Adjustable Shocks. This kit features double-adjustable shocks that allow adjustment of rebound and compression independently. Compression is adjustable 10 ways, and rebound is adjustable 7 ways for ultimate street and track tuning.

Adjustable Ride Height. Lower your Mustang's stance up to 2.3" in the front and 2.7" in the rear for improved cornering and a muscular look on the street with this kit.

Guaranteed to Perform. Unlike other manufacturer adjustable shocks, which can differ significantly in their adjustment range from one shock to another, each Multi-Pro R2 kit is calibrated by hand on a shock dyno so dialing in your setup is as easy as possible.

High Performance Components. Eibach's R2 coil over kit includes monotube shocks with 46mm pistons, remote reservoirs with stainless steel/Teflon lines, and a spherical upper bushing mount. It also includes a complete set of front and rear springs, including front and rear helper springs.

Application. This Eibach R2 Multi-Pro Coil Over Kit is designed for 2011-2014 Mustangs, including the V6 and GT models.

As cliché as it sounds, this is a whole other car now. I've always thought this car had tons of power just perhaps not enough control of it, or at least i felt that way. My car now rides better than stock

Review For Track and Autocross

I got these for my 2011 GT with tons of mods, track toy, Roush charged 600 WHP, etc. These are really nice coilovers, especially for the money. They are looser than the setup on my STI and Cayman - BC

What mileage can i get out of these? I am looking for the maximum traction, without replacing tires before i have to and to lower the car and just overall improve handling. Now this is a daily driver and will see autocross here and there. My question is exactly what it says. How many miles should i get out of these coil overs before i have to look at new ones? I dont want to be replacing these every 10k-20k miles and especially at that price!

  • I can't imagine, unless they get damaged in some way, that you would ever have to worry about putting another shock on your car! I didn't see anything in the description or specs that these were rebuildable, but neither have I ever seen a shock of this high quality that wasn't. The adjustability of these, plus the quality of materials used should provide you with everything you are looking for in a high performance shock. Eibach quality is top of the line also. Normal shocks are known to last 50-100k miles these days with hard use, so I think you are looking at lifetime use out of these. Enjoy!

How much height adjustment can I expect? I currently have a 2013 Boss 302 LS. It's on sportlines right now and they've dramatically improved the handling for autocross, but the ride quality did suffer a bit (as I knew it would). It's also a challenge going over speed bumps. So I'm wondering how low do these goes and how easy is it to adjust the ride height? Can I drop it to the ground for the track/autocross and raise it up when I drive her home? Thanks for the help

  • After you try this coilover package at the STOCK HEIGHT of your Boss, you won't want to drop it to the dirt. I lowered my GT Track Pack exactly one inch (measured bottom of the pinch weld at the jack points) which got me down near your stock height. Handling improvement is stunning. Stopped ALL the dive and squat and with Whiteline AR bars set medium, it corners absolutely flat and neutral. Double adjustable shocks are a definite plus: bump medium, rebound full light? Rides like a dream, tracks beautifully. Worth every dollar. (PCA DE Instructor)

    Night and day!

As cliché as it sounds, this is a whole other car now. I've always thought this car had tons of power just perhaps not enough control of it, or at least i felt that way. My car now rides better than stock but with the handling of a high end sports car. Granted, I also picked this up with the Whiteline Panhard Bar and Support Brace so I know that the increased rear chassis rigidity allows me to have more control of the rear end you have more control when you hit a bump going sideways. .Nose dive, 90% gone (I'm sure I get dial it completely out) Nose in the air when you step on it, 90% gone! Now I know that squatting is a main component of traction but it feels so nice just to go forward!!!

    Review For Track and Autocross

I got these for my 2011 GT with tons of mods, track toy, Roush charged 600 WHP, etc. These are really nice coilovers, especially for the money. They are looser than the setup on my STI and Cayman - BC Racing / Bilstein PSS9. But that works well with a high HP car. You'll have no problem rotating that booty! They have far less lean and offer a better ride than the FR Tokiko struts and coils I upgraded from. Bottom line, these are the best bang for your buck in a track day / autocross, but still streetable coilover. SPECIAL NOTE: the Maximum Motorsport CC plates that say 2010+ - not just on AM - DO NOT work with with this set - R2's. They make a separate SKU ONLY for the R2's. My friend was able to dremel them - they're off by .005 of an inch! Enough to matter... Please make sure your CC plates will work. The pillow tops only allow about 1.3 - camber.

    No more dive or squat

I was very disappointed in the way my '13 GT Track Pac dove under braking and squatted under acceleration -- NO MORE! This coilover package completely cured those problems and gave me flexibility to sort the car for the track. Double adjustable shocks are just what you need for Solo and track. My only other addition has been Whiteline anti-roll bars. Product is built on demand, so it takes two or three weeks to ship. But definitely worth the wait and price. Directions are clear and the install was very easy using a rack. It takes a while to get the height set after the install due to settling. You may have to align a couple of times. Measure the bottom of the pinch welds at the lift points before the install. I lowered only one inch and run the shocks light and comfortable. The handling is HUGELY improved. I was worried about spring rates. Springs are sufficient for track and Solo but ride quality is still excellent on the road (even for a 65-year-old guy). I highly recommend this package.
