Description
Improves Cooling. Keep your V8 powered Mustang running nice and cool with a Ford Racing Aluminum Radiator. This is the same exact radiator Ford used in their FR500S and Boss 302S race cars and it will drastically improve the cooling power of your GT, compared to the stock factory production radiator.

Direct Bolt-in Upgrade. Originally designed for the extreme demands the FR500S Race Mustang this aluminum radiator re-uses the stock factory fan and mounting points making it a direct bolt-in replacement.

Excellent product

This radiator is much thicker and still bolts right up. Keeps my engine cool when I'm on the track (road course) where my RPMs aren't below 4K for 30 mins at a time. Install will take some time, but fits

    Keep it Cool.

    Not only will you be blown away as soon as you open up the box but once it is installed in your baby it will give you real peace of mind having the beast of an engine cool. I installed both this and the Ford Racing SVT Performance Cooling Fan. Living in south Texas where the average temp is in the high 90 every day, it is great to know the no matter how hard I push my car, it will never even break a sweat. I highly recommend buying this Ford Racing Aluminum Radiator; even tho it is pricey; it is worth keeping the factory warranty, just in case.

    Awesome Radiator for Supercharged Mustang

    I bought this radiator to replace the stock Mustang GT radiator in my 2014 GT350 (supercharged). I also installed the Boss oil cooler. While I don't have an type of accurate temperature gauge, the difference is so noticeable that I could see it on the dash temp gauge. With the stock radiator, the temperature gauge was always above the halfway point, and when you got on the car on a hot day, you could definitely tell that the stock radiator was struggling to keep things cool. After installing this radiator, the temp gauge is always below the halfway mark, and even when you drive aggressively, the temperature gauge needle never moves from below that halfway mark. The quality of the radiator is evident when you first see it in the box. High quality welds. And the thickness of this thing is what really jumps out at you. It's over twice the thickness of the stock GT radiator. I believe it's got 2.5 times the capacity of the stock radiator. It's hard to believe looking at it that it's a direct bolt-in, yet it is exactly that. I had the local Ford dealer install it, along with the Boss oil cooler and they did an excellent job. A bit pricey for the labor, but their work is guaranteed. Great product and peace of mind now when driving aggressively, that overheating will never be a problem.

    very high quality construction

    you can spend awhile just staring at the welds on this radiator. the construction is spot on. it fits in the same footprint as the stock radiator. The stock rad is 1" thick, this radiator is 2.5" thick, so it doubles the cooling capacity.

    Cool

    The FRPP radiator is twice as thick as the stock one, and it holds quite a bit more coolant. It's very nicely made, and fits almost perfectly in the stock location. It looks good with the FRPP expansion tank, and it's really nice to know that I can pretty much run my n/a car as hard as I want (in Texas) without overheating it.

    FRPP Aluminum Radiator

    The Radiator was packed nicely in its original Ford packaging.It is a direct fitand does look good when installed. It isthe most expensive of all Mustang radiators and I'm a firm believer in this case that you get what you pay for. Instructions are general in nature, be sure to find as much info on the web as possible. It is much bigger and beefier than a stock radiator so you must take this into account when installing it. All in all I'm very pleased with the fit and performance. I road course and track day a couple times a year and had overheating problems with my stock radiator. The FRPP Aluminum Radiator completely solves any overheating problems you will have. I would reccomend it to anyone.

    Another oustanding Ford Racing Product

    Great for keeping engine cool at a consistent higher RPM when racing or long distance travel during summer. Looks great under the hood as well. Couple this with Ford Racing exhaust system and you will not be disappointed.

    Nice upgrade from stock.

    This radiator is what is needed for a slightly modified drive-train in the hot Texas summer. The original Ford radiator with plastic ends was not cooling enough, and developed cracks where the plastic ends met the metal center. This Ford Racing radiator has an extra core, for better cooling. Its all-aluminum, welded design will not crack, like the stock radiator did. Plus, it add that 'cool' factor for car shows.

    A little more work to install than I anticiapted

    I bought this radiator at a much higher price than some other brands since I have an auto transmission and this was supposed to be a direct, drop in replacement, well that's not quiet an accurate description. I had to modify some brackets and really tear into the front end of the car to gain access. I completed the install in a few hours, which was much longer than I was planning since the description said drop in replacement! After the install I have no complaints though, keeps the motor nice and cool even here in the South Florida summertime sun. I would recommend replacing your thermostat while you have everything apart to get the most out of the new radiator. Also plan to adjust your inter cooler, if you have one there!
