  • The Ford Performance Header Gaskets do not include bolts. Unfortunately we do not have an installation guide for these parts. I would recommend professional installation or having someone who has done the installation before assist you.

    Get these!!

After experiencing an exhaust leak from my recently installed BBK Shorty headers and supplied gaskets, I purchased the Ford Racing gaskets. During the install I discovered the the the passenger side gasket was burned away near the collector. I scraped and replaced both headers and reinstalled them using the Ford Racing gasket set and they were a perfect it. Check the photos of each gasket type sold on the site. You will notice that the FR set are the only ones that mat perfectly to the manifold. These are by far the way to go when swapping out worn or simply upgrading your gaskets during your install.

    Thanks for All the Advice

I ordered a set of BBK shorty headers and used the Ford Racing gaskets. The gaskets are way better quality than the factory or the ones that come with the headers. However, by the title, I wouldn't of bought them if it were not for all the reviews by the American Muscle customers sharing their stories about the replacing their headers. The gasket's fitment was spot on and there were no leaks after installation.

    A good gasket is priceless.

A very nice gasket that should equal or surpass the OE ones. You need a good gasket for headers so why not go with the Big Blue. Who wants to keep changing gaskets when they are not as well made. Can't go wrong here.

    Should have purchased at first!

Picked up a set of the BBK shorties when I swapped out the top end on my '06. Headers are GREAT, but the gaskets left a bit to be desired. I was very carful when installing them, actually put them on the heads before the were installed on the block, which made it simple to apply the bolts evenly and completely. Order a set of the FRPP gaskets, replaced the bad BBK gaskets, no leaks since! If you're swapping out headers, do yourself a favor, grab a set of these while you're at it, you'll be glad you did!

    seals as expected

Easy to use metal header gasket that doesn't fall apart like a fiber version can. If you can slip it over a few studs it will hold itself in place enough to put a header on with only yourself for help.

    A must for Headers!

Had a really bad leak from the OEM style gaskets on my long tube headers.. these sealed it right up and were easy to install since they're a one piece design! Plus I got them shipped in two days!

    Fits great, no leaks

Nothing like peace of mind with frpp. Fit perfect. And no leaks what so ever. Anytime I change headers I order a set of these.

    Must have

I bought the JBA headers and wasn't sure if they really came with gaskets. Well the do but they are junk, They were ripped right out of the box and just not the same quality. These ford gaskets fit great and were thicker than stock.

    Header Gaskets

I installed my headers in my one car garage and i will say that these gaskets made things a little bit easier. Since they are one piece it makes them a lot easier to slide on before the header. I left two studs on each side so that I could have these gaskets hold themselves on while I messed with the header. The quality was very good and I have had my headers on for about 3,000 miles and I have had no issues with leaking. I retightened all the bolts after three heat cycles, I would recommend them since they are a good price and it makes the installation easier!

I Wouldn't Buy Any Other Brand Of Gaskets.

Unfortunately when I ordered these AM was out of stock. They were super easy to work with and gave me my money back right away. Two thumbs way up for AM as always. I ended up getting the gaskets locally and they are perfect. They are made by Ford so they fit like factory gaskets. If you're putting on headers you want these gaskets.

If your installing headers BUY THEM. Higher quality then aftermarket and thinner, holds up great

    Don't Fall for Aftermarket Gaskets!

I bought a Nice pair of Pacesetter Long Tube headers, and used the gaskets that came with it BIG MISTAKE. Had to cut my headers from my midpipe and replace the gaskets, so why not get the best in the business? Ford. And these are much cheaper then from a dealership or anywhere online!

    Leaks

I had to retighten the header bolts several times before there were no leaks in the headers. I also had to tighten way past the suggested torque specs to stop the leaks. I understand that the OEM gaskets are better and are reusable but I cannot confirm from experience. I don't want to take the headers out again to check.

Should've used these the first time

I tore my Kooks L/Ts off to install JBA shorties in order to pass PA emissions. I used these with the JBAs, and they sealed up perfectly. Me, my buddies, and my Hot Rod cams missed the Kooks, so I put them back on using the Kooks metal gaskets, which left me with a bad leak on the right bank. I reinstalled the L/Ts using these FRPP gaskets, and the car sounds great again. Save yourself the extra hours and use these the first time.

    Not as simple

I'm A mechanic myself took a little bit to get them in with some new headers took me like 2 hours but really good gaskets had them on for about 2 week and no seeking or leaking and that's always a good think

A must have if your installing headers

Perfect gaskets and a must have for installing headers on your mustang. The paper gaskets that are supplied are inadequate and blew out the first startup. Save yourself the time and money with changing out the paper gaskets.

    My car feels faster

I had a bad header gasket leak from my original BBK Longtube headers. Once I installed these FRPP gaskets, I felt a difference in my performance. I could tell I was losing horsepower with that gasket leak from my headers.
