what is the recommended gap for these spark plugs? I'm going to be running a 100 to 150 shot, what would be the best recommended gap for these spark plugs. does the gap depend on the amount of nitrous? I was also curious about the stock gap for the oe spark plugs.

  • Likely nothing, and possibly detrimental performance on a stock engine. These are designed for engines modified to have higher than stock combustion pressures. Also, if you were going to install plugs like these, they have to be matched to your engine (i.e. must be a 2011-2013 GT).

With this work well with a BOSS 302 naturaly aspirated engine with a few additional mods? I have a 2011 GT 5.0 with a BOSS 302 manifold, a 90mm ford racing throttle body, JLT carbon fiber cold air intake, a borla off road X pipe, flow master american thunder axleback exhaust, and a Bama Race tune. I am going to purchase a Accel Super Coil Plugs and borla long tube headers. Will these ford racing spark help give more power even tho i dont have a pro charger/supercharger or any nitrous? If not, then what spark plugs are best recommended for my particular naturally aspirated engine?

    No more High RPM missing

After installing a new P1SC supercharger on my 2012 Boss 302 there was a high RPM miss. I am sure it was becuase the plug gaps were too wide, but i ordered these plugs, got them from AM right away (as usual), gapped them to .034, and the car now pulls hard all the way to redline (7,500) One range cooler than stock, and properly gapped made a lot of difference for my application. The original plugs were gapped over .050 so im sure that flameout was the reason for the missing at high rpm under boost

    MISS IS GONE

I HAD A MISS FIRE ISSUE W/MY 2012 S/C MUSTANG - TRIED 2 DIFFERENT BRANDS - FORD PLUGS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MY FIRST CHOICE BUT THE PRICE WAS HOLDING ME BACK ON THESE RACING PLUGS - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR WITH THE "OTHER BRANDS" - EXAMPLE - MY OLE 69 BOSS 302 WORK EAT THE "OTHERS" SPARK PLUGS IN A DAY!!! THE OLE MOTORCRAFT {COPPERTOP THEN} LASTED FOREVER - SOME THINGS IN LIFE JUST DON'T CHANGE AND FORD SPARK PLUGS ARE STILL THE BEST PLUGS HANDS DOWN!!! - STROKEN WILLY Q

    Awesome for procharger

When I installed my procharger the car was breaking up at WOT. As soon as I installed these plugs gapped at .030 it ran perfect.

    Great plugs

Great for boosted applications and good alternative to the brisk if they're giving you misfire codes. Little bit on pricey side but we dont have much of an option at the moment .

    Great for Nitrous Mustangs!

Easy to install, can be done in an hour. Great for nitrous vehicles and can be used for daily driving when not on the bottle.

    Worked for about two weeks

I bought these for my 2012 procharged 5.0 because of all the good reviews on them but about two weeks after installing them, the car was misfiring and not running right. I called procharger and they recommended the NGK's so I got those and the accel coil packs to get it running again. Maybe they just weren't right for my car? Either way I lost $90 on them
