    INSTALATION TIPS
    April 25, 2010

Product looks cool..Installation can be tough. Instructions are not accurate..You can seperate the cluster lens if you take your time and are carefull..Most all 94-04 Mustang models have the lens attached with sealer putty from the factory.I Carefully cut along the seam where the sealer was used with a Dremmel tool and small cut-off wheel. I then used a utility knife with a new blade and very carefully cut thru any remaing sealer and seperated the lens..This takes patience and time, But trying to install this kit with the lens on will result in a poor job...I still needed to glue the rings in place as the little tabs on the rings are useless and do not snap in place at all..I removed the tabs with an X-acto knife, removed some of the plastic plating, (glue will not adhere to plating) and glued them in place with some plastic model cement..You can re-install the lens with some clear silicone sealant..Nice part about removing the lens is you can clean the backside of the lens and the cluster face making the final result looking sparkling clean...

i love the look of these. it makes the car look so much better and cleaner. i only came across one problem tho. they didnt fit very well. i had to take a knife and shave down the back of the instrument panel because the rings were too thin. but after plenty of shaving, they clipped right in

The gauge rings look great in the car but I thought they would be made out of metal chrome and not plastic.
