Accurate Readings. The IAT (Intake Air Temperature) Sensor that comes in the stock factory MAF is perfectly fine for naturally aspirated daily drivers. But in force induction applications like a supercharger or turbocharger the factory MAF sensor housing will become "heat soaked" and the IAT sensor will read much hotter than the actual intake air temperature which can cause power robbing detonation. By relocating the IAT sensor "higher upstream" after the intercooler the ECU will see more accurate temperature readings allowing you to make more power.

Application. This Intake Air Temperature Sensor Relocation Kit is designed for use on 2005 to 2010 Mustangs equipped with an aftermarket supercharger or turbocharger. Including V6, GT, Bullitt and Shelby models.
