Quality Construction. These JBA Shorty headers are made to last using 3/8" thick laser-cut flanges, free flowing mandrel-bent 1-1/2" 409 stainless steel tubing, and JBA's Sealing Dome® collectors.

Fitment. Designed to fit the 1999-2004 V6 Mustangs. These JBA shorty headers include high-quality mounting hardware, gaskets, and instructions, so that they will bolt right up to your Mustangs stock mid-pipe.

    These headers together with the free for life Bama tune from AM are really a good addition/replacement for your car. I took these because they are CA legal and my headers were cracked. Installation was intensive but not too difficult if you are organized and have the proper tools and I did it alone. The only problem I had was the dipstick tube but this problem is inherent to the tube not to the headers (this tube is sh@*). My car now runs smoothly, rpms don't collapse midrange when I change gear. It was worth the effort and saving the $ 700 mechanics requested to do the job. It took me about 12 hours to install.

    It took about 3 hours to install both of them. I ran into the oil dipstick problem but I just cut a gap in the header so the dipstick will fit through it. Getting the EGR tube on the right hand side is tough though, once off its all easy. Noticed the difference in HP right away. It has a stronger kick and improved Throttle Response.
