More Usable Horsepower. With a JLT Performance Cold Air Intake installed under the hood of your 2001 Bullitt you can expect to see average gains of 10 to 15 more horsepower at the rear wheels across the entire RPM range. In addition to an increase in horsepower you will also see an impressive improvement in throttle response.

Fender Well Induction. This JLT Cold Air Intake is designed to draw in cold air from the fender well, rather than the hot engine compartment. Which reduces the incoming airs temperature for better combustion resulting in more horsepower.

Money Saving Reusable Filter. JLT cold air intake kits come complete with a high flow reusable S&B brand air filter. So that means there is no need to go out and buy a new filter every few thousand miles. Now you can just clean the filter, re-oil it, save money, and go!

Easy Installation. The JLT Performance Cold Air Intake kit was designed to install with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation. And with the include tapered reducer it will fit throttle bodies up to 75mm in size.

Application. This JLT Performance Cold Air Intake System is specifically designed for use on the 2001 Bullitt Mustangs equipped with the sohc 4.6L V8 engine and does not require re-tuning the vehicles computer for operation.

The JLT intake gave me a boost of around 8 hp, however the main difference I have noticed is the difference in pull in acceleration. I believe this is due to the huge diameter of the tube. Overall great product.

When i swapped a Bullit intake onto my '03 GT,i knew right from the start i wanted the JLT cold air intake.The hardest part was deciding if i wanted the in fender mount one,or the ram air on.With a little interweb reseach,i chose the in fender mount one.It's a great product,and i highly recommend it.All the parts are quality,same goes for the paint work.Was a little touh,and tight to fit,but with a little patients,and following the instructions,i had no issues installing it.

Very nice intake. Increase in sound and power, plus it looks great under the hood. It took about an hour to install, but if you follow the instructions you wont have any problems. If you own a 2001 Bullitt, buy this intake.

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
