Description
Reduce Sludge. In your Mustang's engine, crankcase exhaust is re-circulated back through your PCV system and intake, taking with it large amounts of oil vapors. This JLT Oil Separator kit installs in your PCV line to filter out oil before it can get into your engine's intake - where it doesn't belong - and cause damage.

Premium Quality Kit. This high quality kit includes the JLT Oil Separator, which features billet aluminum construction with a satin anodized finish for superior style and durability. The 2 oz. tank base is easily removed for draining during oil changes, and is designed with a o-ring for a leak-free seal. Plus, JLT added a Ford Motorcraft metal mesh PCV pre-filter to prevent any oil from getting back into your intake.

Easy Installation. This complete kit includes a factory PCV line that has already been modified with the necessary fittings and attached to the separator for a true plug-and-play installation.

Application. This JLT Oil Separator kit is designed for the 2011 to 2015 GT and BOSS Mustangs. Designed for direct installation on the passenger's side only (same side as the PCV valve).

Technical Note. There is a unique JLT separator kit recommended for 2007-2014 Mustang GT500s - click here.

Easy install and looks factory!!!

Install took all of 30 seconds from start to finish. People don't even recognize it in the engine bay, it looks like it came from the factory. All lines are OEM ford equipment so there is no fitment

Worth Every Penny

If you've been contemplating as to whether or not to buy this catch can, stop doing so and buy it. Install literally takes 30 seconds and within 50 miles you'll see residue collecting in the separator.

Passenger or drivers side oil separator? I have noticed that after my car gets hot (usually after driving aggressively) I can hear a ticking noise coming from the engine at low RPMs. After some research I have found that it is most likely oil blowback from the crankcase pressure being recirculated into my intake and possibly artificially lowering the octane of my fuel causing the tick/knock. Many folks recommend this product as the fix to prevent this from happening. Only buying one which is the one that is the most effective at preventing this issue? The drivers side or passenger side separator? Thanks, Ryan

  • If you are only buying one get the passenger side as it is the PVC valve side.

If you've been contemplating as to whether or not to buy this catch can, stop doing so and buy it. Install literally takes 30 seconds and within 50 miles you'll see residue collecting in the separator. After 1100 miles mine had collected nearly an ounce of oil/water, all of which would have went back into the engine without the JLT Separator. As with all JLT products, quality is top notch and uses only quality materials.

Install took all of 30 seconds from start to finish. People don't even recognize it in the engine bay, it looks like it came from the factory. All lines are OEM ford equipment so there is no fitment issues. The canister is a VERY nice piece. Kudos to JLT for an awesome product.

    A must have.

My new 2011 mustang GT would blow small amounts of oil out the tail pipes on start ups. Ford was saying this is normal for the new coyote engine. Knowing this was caused by oil blow by I purchased this JLT Oil Seperator. Installation was a breeze with the included instructions. No more smoke out my tail pipe and I'm amazed at how much oil the catch can catches after just a few miles. Anyone that has ever cleaned a throttle body knows how much oil is getting in there and how much performance it is robbing. This oil Seperator is a must inorder to keep the performance that the 5.0 engine is capable of.

JLT Oil Separator = MUST HAVE!!!

SUPER impressed with this product! This was the first "mod" i did to my car. I picked up my 2013 GT Track Pack and installed this a week later. I put the JLT Oil Separator on with about 120 miles on my car and by 200 miles(moderately driven around town...no wide open throttle), there was a coating of oil on the bottom of the can. It's an amazing peace of mind having it and well worth the $119.99. Its easy to see its made of quality parts and craftsmanship, uses Ford OEM fittings and is great looking too! Installation was a snap(literally 2 snaps of the OEM fittings). If you care about the performance and longevity of your Mustang, GET IT! 2 thumbs up to JLT and American Muscle!

    You need this.

When I bought this I wasn't really sure about it but all the reviews were positive. This is a really quality piece and if it didn't have the JLT logo on the top of the canister you would think it was a OEM part. Checked the canister after about 500 miles and had about 2 table spoons of oil in it. Looks good and works.

Peace of Mind and Great Value

seriously well made product, and couldn't be easier to use. You just have to remember to check it every once in a while. Does what it's supposed to, and makes you wonder why Ford is ok with all that oil blowing right in through the intake, but it's an easy fix, just buy this!

    Jlt separator

Very satisfied with the quality of materials and performance of the JLT oil separator. Did not expect that much oil to be in the accumulator after only a few hundred miles. I don't want that stuff in my intake or throttle body.

    Can't imagine an easier installation!

Talk about plug and play. Simply lift the front of the intake insulation cover up, remove the old PCV hose by compressing the clip latches with your fingers, pulling the factory hose assembly off, then installing the oil separator by pushing the new hose fittings in place and push the cover back down. The hoses of the oil separator assembly appear to be the factory hose cut in two with the oil separator inserted in the middle. Hose and fittings are oriented in precisely the same direction as the factory hose. No mounting of a bracket or anything complicated. Follow the instructions and you won't believe how easy it is. I've used more words in praise than it took to describe how to install the piece.

    A Must Have

This is a seemingly simple must have part. With Ford fittings, thick durable O-ring, and quality design it is a very inexpensive and effective way to keep the sludge from building up in your intake. Installation couldnt be simpler, literally 2 clicks off and 2 clicks on, 10 seconds later you have peace of mind. Thank you American Muscle!
