Replace or Upgrade. Whether you're replacing a failing OE fuel regulator or upgrading it, this billet adjustable fuel regulator will give you the control you need over how much juice your Pony is getting. Whether your Mustang is stock or modded, adding an adjustable fuel regulator is a great upgrade over your stock unit for maximum control.

Easy to Adjust. This billet aluminum adjustable fuel regulator is adjustable from 30 to 100 PSI for a wide range of applications. And best of all, any necessary adjustments can be made without removing the vaccuum line by a separate port on the top of the unit.

Quality Construction. On the outside, this high performance fuel regulator is made to last out of durable, lightweight billet aluminum. On the inside, it's designed for leak-free performance with not one, but two internal o-rings.

Application. This billet fuel regulator is designed to fit the 94-95 Mustang 5.0L, 94-96 5.8L, 96-97 4.6L (2V & 4V), 98 (4V), and 94-98 3.8L.

If you don't have a fuel pressure gauge, what would be the easiest way to check the psi?

  • Not really any other way to check PSI without a gauge. Some auto parts stores will rent out a fuel rail pressure gauge.

    Good adjustable regulator

The Kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator is an excellent unit; well made and easy to install and adjust. After adjusting to 46 psi at the track, my 96 GT gained at least one tenth second and eliminated the "flat spot" that was occurring above 5500 rpm. Excellent product!

    exactly what I needed

I upgraded my fuel injectors from 24lb to 30lb. The standard Mustang fuel regulator is 30lb. I kept receiving a "lean" engine code. After installing, the race shop that installed it found the optimum pressure was 38lbs. My Cobra runs fantastic! This regulator is very similar to the orginal and very easy to adjust. This product functions exactly as advertised and is well worth the money.

    Best Fuel Pressure Regulator

I bought this Kirban Performance fuel pressure regulator, a few weeks ago, and installation is simple, all you have to do is adjust it with the vaccum line off, it's that simple, any time you need to adjust the fuel pressure, all you have to do is turn the screw on the top of it, it is so easy, as long as you have an on rail fuel pressure gauge.

    Good product

Had to pull the GT40 tubular intake to get the second screw out of the existing BBK regulator. After doing all that, it popped right on, and was done very quickly. I may have been able to do it without removing the intake, but got frustrated quickly after trying 5 times.

    An okay choice

I just replaced my second Kirban Fuel regulator with the Aeromotive regulator. I installed my first Kirban regulator in late 2002 when I did a Bullitt intake and PI head swap. In 2009 that unit finally failed. I replaced it with he same piece. This second unit failed last month, September 2014. I decided to go with the Aeromotive unit this time. We will see how it holds up. All of these regulators are very easy to install and adjust. You will need to be able to read the fuel pressure. I have a small gauge permanently installed on my fuel rail which really makes it easy. Install and adjustment takes no more than 10 minutes. Quality is good and fit is perfect. Performance gains are only really related to the other modifications performed. This part will help you get the correct fuel pressure to best utilize your other modifications and is a must if moving to larger injectors.
