Coolant res.

All was good but I was unaware it didn't come with a cap or I'd just bought it as well! Had to buy a cap at Autozone

    Not Exactly

This tank didn't line up well for installation. The OEM cap (w/ coolant sensor) did not fit on this tank. The tank leaks from the connection to hose. About all I can say is that it is functioning. I am going to take it off see if I can get the hose secured better to see if the leaking will stop and make sure that is where it is coming from. If you order this part, before you install it: 1. make sure the cap you have fits 2. fill it with water to make sure it doesn't leak 3. secure the hose and tighten the clamp

    Uh-Oh...

Fit is good, comes with a hose of proper length. But... If you have the Low Coolant Sensor like my '87 GT does, that sensor will not fit in the new tank. And the cap for that sensor, if removed, will not fit on the new tank. So you'll have to go find a new cap for it and no longer use your Low Coolant Sensor. For a "perfect replacement" product, it should accept the Coolant Sensor.

    Radiator Overflow Tank

Im overall satisfied with the overflow tank. The rubber hose should have been a 1/4 inch longer. I had to pull the hose to barely attach it to the radiator. Other than that, it appears to be working fine.

    Almost worked perfectly

The tank itself looks like OEM and fits perfectly. The only issue is that the hose is about 2 inches too short. I had to replace it with a new one before I could install the tank.

    Overflow Tank

Tank is not the right one if you have the cap w/ sensor. You listing is unclear in this regard. As others have posted the overflow hose that comes with the tank is too short... otherwise it fit well

    Overflow Tank

Not the right tank for the OE unit with the coolant sensor. had to find a cap for tank w/o sensor. Hose at least 2 inches short.

easy installation worked great. but the hose needed to be a little longer, had to use a small ring clamp to make it stay on the radiator

    Fits great

I had a crack at the bottom of my stick tank, so I ordered this along with the mishimoto aluminum radiator. It fit perfectly but when I changed the radiator it was KIND OF a tight squeeze but nothing to worry about. It's prob easier to remove the bottom bolt from under the car IMO. 1990 LX hatchback

    Keep it cool.

Easy to install and much better than patching holes up in a leaky ship. Hard to find until American Muscle, they have everything for my Mustang.

Title accurate! Would be nice to list also the original ford part number for cross reference.

The tank was an exact duplicate of the original. The rubber hose clamp is not the original crimp type, rather it is the standard screw type band clamp which makes hose replacements in the future very simple. Reinstalling the orignal cap was very easy.

    perfect fit

The only thing that I could find at fault here, was that it didn't come with the cap. I found one at AutoZone but would have been a triely great product if it had that one thing
