does it work with 2013 mustang v6? i have a 2013 brand new mustang v6, which chin spoiler should i choose?

    ruinan Year: 2013 Model: V6

    • Unfortunately not. The front fascia on the 2013 is slightly different than the 10-12 Mustangs and this chin spoiler won't fit properly.

      looks great

the chin spoiler looks very good ,seems to be very quality made, the fit was just a little off on the driver side nothing that bad or noticeable, overall i love it.

      Looks Great

Looks great, gives the stang a better more aggressive look. Took me 2hrs to install. Fits 95% meaning its not a 100% factory fit. Cant tell unless you look really close. The edges near the fender near the tire looks like it could have used some 3m tape for a tighter fit. Some areas are a tiny bit loose but you really have to look up close and press to see. You'll need some black spray paint to paint the fluid resorvior if you want it to blend. And the description says you use the factory push pins?... theres only 2 and you dont reuse them. Just make sure you take your time and lineup the front plastic inserts into there slots. Especially in the front. And although its been done by some on the ground, its best to lift the front end up with ramps or something. Overall happy with purchase. Worth the coin. Easy install. Looks better than the factory look.

Great looking product. Thanks AM. Install time about an hour. Spoiler has the textured finish so when painted you can see that. I don't mind it since a lot of lower body parts com like that.

      great chin spoiler

Its great looking blends in with side skirts perfectly. Only need to adjust one of the drill holes to make it 100% flush with the bumper. Great product and the perfect look of what I'm going for.

      Looks nice and functional

If you've done other mods this is one mod that really compliments the others. Currently I have an '11 GT w/ SR lowering springs, GT500 spoiler, side window louvers, JLT CAI, BBK Varitune and now of course the CDC chin spoiler. I received compliments from family, friends and strangers on it (and other mods). Install wasn't difficult but it wasn't the most simple. Make sure you snap in the bottom snaps first, then do the top otherwise getting the bottom snaps in will be near impossible. It is also functional as well as looking good. Unlike the Roush splitter which I've seen heard of at least 3 people having them rip off at 150mph+, the CDC chin spoiler will definitely NOT come off. Running the numbers, it looks like it should increase high speed stability and have a bit of down force at higher speeds. Running the numbers it looks like the front chin spoiler provides roughly 30 lbs of down force at 100 mph, 44 lbs at 120, and 68 lbs at 150 mph. The GT500 provides similar numbers. So, combined that is around 140lbs @ 150 mph, that should help keep you on the road a little better.

Best Chin for a 2010-12 Intercooled Mustang!

I recently completely updated the exterior of my Paxton supercharged 2010 GT. The intercooler is so large for my blower kit that it was almost impossible to find a chin or bumper to fit over it. The CDC chin was the only chin/bumper that we could find which actually fit my application and it fit PERFECTLY with minor modifications and looks like it was meant to be part of the car. I'm impressed that CDC took the time to develop a product that could be used to compliment a wide array of aftermarket applications where others did not. The plastic quality is great and with minor smoothing, we were able to paint to match the car. This is my 2nd CDC chin and I will never put anything else on my mustang. Great job guys!
