Took some thinking
There were no instructions for this grille when I bought it, and to be honest, it looks really easy. It is too, but also took some time and planning. I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to get it in, but wound up going under the car and feeding it up to the hood latch, and reached around with my other arm to get it. It's kinda tricky, and then it's really hard to get it to fit in right, but after some wrestling, it fits really nicely. I used the bolts that I had on my billet grille to secure them, but there's no way to get the nut in to secure the bolt without taking the front assembly apart. I didn't have the time or the desire to take the car apart for a grille, so i simply superglued the bolt to the washer, and the washer to the assembly. Not the best decision, but it's held so far, and it looks really good.
This product looks a lot better for the mustang emblem, since it's not an exposed radiator behind it, but a honeycomb. The billet grilles look really bad in my opinion, so this was the perfect product for me. It gave my 98 a more modern look, while still keeping the classic forward standing horse look.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a more modern look, or doesn't like the billet grilles.
