True Dual Exhaust. Convert your V6 Pony to a true dual exhaust with a PaceSetter V6 Dual Exhaust H-pipe Adapter Kit. Just install this H-pipe Adapter along with the 1994-1998 GT catback exhaust of your choice, to give your Mustang an impressive V8 sound and up to 18 more rear wheel horsepower. Muscle Car Rumble. This free flowing PaceSetter Dual Exhaust Mid-pipe Adapter for your 3.8-powered V6 will not only increase power, but it will also add a deep muscle car rumble to the sound of your exhaust with its classic "H" crossover pipe design.

Durable Construction. The PaceSetter two piece H-pipe adapter kit features durable 2.5” diameter mandrel bent 16-gauge aluminized tubing, and reuses your stock factory Catalytic Converters saving you money. Kit contains adapter H-pipe, clamps, fasteners, hangers, and instructions.

Application. This PaceSetter H-pipe Dual Exhaust Adapter Kit is designed for use on the 1994 to 1998 V6 Mustangs in combination with an aftermarket or stock factory dual 1994-1998 GT catback exhaust system.

Technical Note. Cutting required. Welding recommended but not necessary.

I picked up this pipe and some 97gt taipipes off CL then paid the shop to install, ~$370 for true duals. Considering that is cheaper than many of the catback systems without the midpipe or installation

Engine tune needed? I have heard that I will need to tune my cars engine to handle the increased exhaust flow. Will the car self adjust to the modifications, or will I need a custom tune?

    v6 dual exhaust conversion

    OMG you will NOT believe how easy it is to install this H-pipe on a v6 mustang! And I'm a GIRL! I just followed the utube and installation instructions, and VOILA it was done in 45 minutes! I immediately saw and felt, the difference in my engine. I now get better gas mileage and my car has more oomph when I stomp the gas pedal! I would recommend this product to any v6 owner who would like to see more horse power from their car.

    Dual Exhaust Conversion

    The Pace Setter Dual Exhaust Adapter is definitely a must if you have a v6 and your looking for a nice exhaust tone. I installed the adapter with a set of Flowmaster Original 40s and I must say, it sounds amazing. The only problem I had with installation was having to use a rubber mallet to force it into place. I had the y-pipe cut and the adapter installed in about an hour and it sailed through inspection and emissions. I think the only way to make my v6 sound better would be a full catted h-pipe with high-flow cats. I am very happy with the results. The car turns heads wherever I go. I highly recomend this for any v6 owner who wants to get a deep v8 rumble from their 3.8.

    Nice Upgrade

    I purchased this kit along with Flowmaster American Thunder Catback Exhaust (94-97 GT, Cobra) and I couldn't be happier! My v6 still had the stock exhaust setup so when I got my packages (very quickly I might add!) I took it to my local muffler shop where they installed it in about an hour and a half. My car now has a nice rumble to it and really sounds good zooming on the freeway. Another thing I like about this setup is that when your talking with someone in the car the exhaust isn't over bearing and doesn't drown out your conversations. Thanks AM for the quick shipping and excellent customer service!

    It sound like a V8

    With the h pipe and I used flow master mufflers my 3.8 sounds like a V8 it has a nice idle and once you reached 3000 rpms it roars I even get some looks it adds some ponies to but delivers that nice growl

    AWESOME TONE!!!

    I paired this with an American Thunder cat back from Flowmaster. Coudn't be happier!!!!!!!! I recommend pulling whole exhaust system down for install much eaiser to cut Y pipe off and slide this on. Only reason for full day is because lining up cat back system and the wrapping the brake and fuel line on pass side of car. Which I also recommend. The sound is great, nice deep growl at low rpm, and no popping noises when revving it up. And a nice tone while doing 70 on highway.

    Pacesetter H-pipe w/ 97GT tails

    I picked up this pipe and some 97gt taipipes off CL then paid the shop to install, ~$370 for true duals. Considering that is cheaper than many of the catback systems without the midpipe or installation I'm very pleased. Everything sounds decent in my car, but I also have stock gt mufflers, so my exhaust note may vary from yours obviously, and is much quieter. My car makes about the same sounds, a little louder, and in a much much deeper tone.

    excellent replacement

    I bought this H pipe to replace the original, that had rusted at the ball ends. after some work removing the original H pipe the pace setter went right into place.

    Worth the money.

    I purchased tailpipes and mufflers from summit racing and was going to buy their hpipe also, but decided against it. I'm glad I did. The hpipe was easy to install and was a direct fit just as advertised! The products costed me $225 all together and I had the skills to make it fit. Would recommend going this route if you're cheap like me!
