Description
Gain Up to 40 HP. Patriot Performance designs their Stage II SOHC heads to add from 35 to 40 more horsepower to your rear wheels, turning even the tamest Mustang into a track-day terror.

Street and Strip. These free-flowing CNC-ported heads deliver over 215 cfm and can handle blown and nitrous applications. They're a great choice for high-powered Ponies that stretch their legs on both the street and the strip.

Made to Perform. Patriot Performance Stage II 1020 Superflow Bench 3.552 Bore Heads for PI Romeo blocks feature 46cc combustion chambers with 180cc intake runners and 67cc exhaust runners. Every last detail of a high performance racing head is taken into account at Patriot including a 5 angle valve job and 5-axis CNC porting.

Stage II Specs. The Stage II heads are designed for airflow with their 1.78" intake valves flowing 64 CFM at .100 lift and 218 CFM at the full .600 lift and their 1.452" exhaust flowing 52CFM at .100 lift and 193 CFM at .600.

Fully Assembled. Patriot Performance Stage II heads complete with Patriot's Custom Stainless Steel Valves and .600" Lift Springs with titanium retainers. Rockers, lifters, and cams sold separately.

Application. The Patriot Performance Stage II heads fit all PI Romeo Block 4.6L/5.4L SOHC 2V Ford Motors, such as the 2001-2004 Mustang GT. Will not fit Windsor blocks.

Technical Notes. Patriot Performance Heads are built to order by Patriot Performance for our customers. Because of this there can be a 4 to 6 week lead time on orders. May not be legal in emissions controlled states. For help identifying your block, Romeo Blocks have 11 bolt valve covers, Windsor Blocks have 13 bolt valve covers. These heads do not fit Windsor Blocks.

    haha better make sure u have everything

    same thing that happened to BL happened to me MAKE SURE THE PLUG HOLES ARE PLUGGED. we thought we were good started the car and had oil EVERYWHERE. just make sure to take the plug holes out of the old heads and put them in these, other then that these heads did make a difference and if u live in cali they cant tell there ported :)

    Not the best buy

    I bought these heads and put them on my gt when i started up my car oil pumped all out in the floor and oil wasn't getting to my cams i took my heads off and saw patriot didnt plug any of the plug holes in the heads so i had to buy a plug kit and plug them myself than after 2 weeks of driving my car with the heads my valve spring guides loosened so i had to take them to a head shop and get them put in right! Now that its all fixed it runs great!

    This product was flawed from the beginning

    I order this set of patriot stage II heads and the cam journals were severly pitted. Upon calling Patriot, I was told to send the heads back and they would look at the heads. Once they received the heads the technician there said the pitts would hold more oil and help to oil the cam more. Needless to say they sent the heads back after a poor attempt at reworking the cam journals. Shipping was 45 dollars and I had to foot the bill for that too. Against my better judgement I installed the heads, Patriot swore it would be fine. I had a bronze insert come out after the install. Now i have just took my old set of heads to a local machine shop for a build. These heads were just a 1300 Dollar mistake

    Great power

    When I installed these on my Saleen non-SC, I gained a little over 30rwhp, that\\\'s great HP for the price, it can\\\'t beat it.

    FIX THE VALVE SEAL ISSUE

    There is one bad issue. If you fix this right of the bat you will be great to go!! The valve seals. Well they seal horribly. I never knew this put the heads on. All 8 cylinders fill with oil and burn nasty oil when running. I wanted to cry thinking engine was toast. Very upset since i put so much time and money into it. Not knowing what is going on. I email patriot. They finally tell me they have a valve seal issue where the seal and head me when the seal is resting does not seal and oil goes right down valve guide into engine. So you have to take valve seals off. RTV the bottom of the seal then reinstall. What a long expensive headache this has become
