Unleash 255 More Horses. The stock 2011-2014 5.0L 4V Coyote Mustangs come with an awesome 420 Horsepower and 390 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but with a Roush R2300 Phase 3 kit installed the numbers jump to an astounding 675 horsepower and 585 lb-ft of torque; that's 255 more than stock.

Monstrous blower kit, Roush style. This complete package transforms your GT into a track-shredding beast. Kit comes complete with a 2.3L TVS® supercharger with black finish, upper and lower intake manifolds, an air-to-water intercooler, a low temp radiator, an oversized coolant degas bottle, a cold air intake system with 110mm MAF, a twin 60mm electronic throttle body with matching spacer, a 80mm supercharger pulley and a unique fuel rail with 47 lb/hr fuel injectors. Also includes a Roush Fuel Pump Voltage Regulator to moderate fuel flow and ensure a proper fuel-to-air charge ratio as well as a Plug-n-Play wiring harness where no modifications are needed to the vehicles fuel pump wiring system.

New High-flow Technology. The ROUSH Phase 3 R2300 supercharger features Eaton's new cutting edge Twin Vortices Series technology (TVS) rotating assembly that delivers more power and better fuel economy in a smaller package for uncompromising performance. This a roots-type, positive displacement supercharger features twin four-lobe rotors that are twisted 160-degrees to greatly enhance thermal efficiency, enabling higher volume capacity, and higher operational speeds.

Upgraded ROUSH PCM calibration. ROUSH® PCM calibration is a success of engineering that maximizes the power of the system. ROUSHcharger owners will receive a ROUSH® PCM Flash Voucher Card, which is used to obtain the specific calibration needed for your Mustang and requires ROUSH Diagnostic Tool (RDT) software and a J2534 Pass-Through device to upgrade your PCM (software and pass-through device not included). This kit also features the ROUSH® logo, showing that serious performance lies within when you raise your hood.

I have a 2013 GT automatic will this work for this setup?

I'm putting on a roush phase 3 supercharger my mechanic said if I drive the car hard the rods will break. Have you come across anything like this


  • Hi, The stock internals on well taken care of low mileage 5.0 can hold the power this kit puts out, I do suggest doing forged internals to assure the life of the motor.

  • The Roush R2300 675HP Supercharger would be a custom installation, however, as long as there are proper clearances, you should not encounter as many issues.

can i install this kit on a automatic 13 mustang? because the PHASE 2 KIT says i can but in this one its says only for manual transmision , whats the diference?


  • There are certain lines and hook ups that will come with this kit that will only be compatible with the manual transmission. The tune that also comes with this kit from Roush can only be tuned for the manual transmission as well. This kit may be able to be modified to work with the automatic transmission, but may require a lot of work and other parts to be purchased.

    Excellent Kit, high quality with huge performance gains!!!!!!!

    I highly recommend getting this supercharger setup, this is an excellent kit with huge power gains. For over the past 6 months I have been doing a lot of research on what setup I wanted to go with. I finally decided on getting this kit after reading several reviews on mustang forums. Their was a lot of positive feedback on the new Roush TVS supercharger. The supercharger is such high quality that Roush offers a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. This kit has a standard install time to be around 10 hours. It took me about 15-20 hours to complete the install as part of the instructions was unclear on some of the wiring of the kit and what bolts are to be used in the provided packages. The rest of the instructions are great. These are really the only two problems I had with the entire kit just to show the quality. There was one wiring harness that I could not figure out where to plug it into. The instructions with the kit did not show or tell where to plug it into. I contacted Roush tech support for the first time to try and figure out where the wire plugs into and they advised me their tech was busy and they would half to call me back. I waited a few days and they never called me back. So I tried calling them back and they told me the same thing, that their tech was busy. The very next day I finally talked to tech at Roush and he told me where it goes and it was so easy to find and plug into. I know Roush is really busy so that was not a big issue for waiting. It was a sensor that is hidden back behind the passenger side cylinder head. The wire I am talking about runs from the fuse box under the hood to the intercooler pump and then branches off to that sensor behind the passenger side cylinder head. Now for some of the time consuming task for me that you half to do for the install of the kit. The hardest part of the install is you half to make some grinds and cuts on the front engine cover on the block. I knew I was going to half to do this but I am not real big on doing this as their is no room for mistakes. You have to do this in order to get the provided pulley bracket on and to make clearance for the belt. I used a grinding and cutting wheel to make all this possible. I submitted a picture of the grinds and cuts I made on the studs and ribs on the front passenger side of the engine cover. There are 3 ribs that half to be removed along with 2 studs. There is another stud that half of the width needs to be cut off. You have to be really careful doing this as you can cut and shave to much off the block and cause permanent damage. I really took my time in doing this and I used a Dremel tool to smooth my work up on the block. One of the other time consuming task was de pinning some of the factory wires from the connectors. On a few of the connectors you have to de pin the wires in order to get them into the new provided connectors. So make sure you have a few wire de pinning tools for this kit. If not the local parts stores carry them. Everything in this kit that needs to be bolted on gives you the specs on how much they need to be torqued down. The Roush installation instructions use Nm, which is Newton meters. You can use a conversion calculator on the internet to convert Newton meters to foot pounds. Overall those where the only problems and the only time consuming task I had with the kit. Everything else bolted right up and the fitment of the kit is factory. The kit also comes with the Ford racing 0-degree heat range spark plugs that was not listed in the kit which is great. The Roush fuel system upgrade (boost a pump) install only took me about 20 minutes. I submitted a picture of it installed on my car. It mounts on the driver side of the trunk just behind the rear seat on the sheet metal. You will have to run one of the wiring harness from the boost a pump through the cabin floor board of the vehicle to the engine bay. This is the wire for the boost activated switch that is mounted on the supercharger. This kit also is a drop ship item meaning that American Muscle does not carry this in their warehouse, once they have received the order they will contact Roush and it will be shipped directly from them. If you have anything missing in the kit or problems you will have to contact American Muscle first. For tech support you can call Roush directly. Once I ordered the kit it took it about a week and a half to finally get to my house. Roush also provides a FedEx box for your ECM computer module which is prepaid so you can get your computer flashed at Roush. It only takes a few days to get it back. If you plan on getting a custom tune for this kit you will not need to do this step. By getting a custom tune for this kit you will void the Roush 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. I am very pleased with this product and I highly recommend it. You will be making 12 pounds of boost with this kit, and it really has some good sound features. My exhaust note has changed and it sounds a whole lot deeper and louder. The supercharger has a whine to it at wide open throttle or put into heavy strain. Its not super loud but you can still hear it. I couldn't be happier, this kit is exactly what I was expecting. Thank you American Muscle for the excellent customer service. You all set an example on how a company should treat their customers. You all have always took care of me, keep up the great work!!!!!!!!

After we were done I took the car to the shop and had it tuned and dyno the finished result is 610 HP at the wheels. the SC its self isn't loud you can kinda hear it up its not loud at all. if you get this SC just be carful in 4th it will spin.

    Great Kit !

    This kit is worth the the money...Roush quality through and through...I am not a mechanic but my friend i helped do the install with is. Our only complaint is the instructions...suggest your read the entire 95 or so pages several times so you know whats coming. They don't come in order, for example you should read page 37 before doing page 34. So, READ first. Must have a good knowledge of connector pinning and re pinning. Trying to find pin number 56 amoung 70 pins on a computer connection is a bit taxing....the one connection took 3 has to be right. There is a video out there on you tube which is very helpful.The guy who did this in 10 hours must be a mechanical genius...i meant that in the nicest sort of way. Took us close to 20 hours. Take your time, do what it says.....but do your homework first. Fired up and ran perfect first time. Roush quality. Fred G.
