More Power and Torque. The SLP Shorty X-Pipe uses free-flowing mandrel-bent tubing with a genuine X style crossover and high-flow catalytic converters to provide a significant increase in horsepower and torque over the restrictive stock factory catted pipes when installed in conjunction with SLP's Long Tube Headers.

Race Car Growl. This free flowing SLP x-pipe for the 2005 to 2009 GT's not only increases power, but it also adds a raspy, race car growl to the sound of your exhaust with its modern "X" crossover pipe design.

Quality Stainless Steel Construction. Constructed entirely from 2.5" mandrel bent stainless steel tubing for improved exhaust flow, this SLP mid-pipe features a true "X" crossover, not a poor-flowing clam shell imitation that other companies use. The included SLP High flow cats far out perform the restrictive stock factory catalytic converters to increase rear wheel horsepower and torque.

Application. This SLP Shorty catted X-Pipe is specifically designed to fit the 2005-2009 GT, 2008-2009 Bullitt and 2007-2009 Shelby GT500 Mustangs with SLP Long-Tube Headers installed.

This X pipe gives me a MUCH deeper sound at both idle and throttle than the stock H pipe did. It is not raspy in the least. It sounds like a demon is coming out of your tailpipes, and is nice, healthy, loud (but not obnoxious), mean, and will definitely turn heads. I am extremely happy with the quality and the sound that SLP and their exhaust products provide, and I dont ever plan on getting anything else.

The SLP catted X Pipes are great. They were cake to install. The SLP X pipes opened everything up nicely. I cut .2 off my 1/4. I did it in my drive way and combined with the SLP loudmouths it makes one nice rumble. Great when your bored to set off camaro car alarms.

S197 stock was so restrictive with power/noise when it came to exhaust, and I'll tell ya that this X-pipe and high flow cats really opened both up, coupled with the SLP Longtube Headers! SLP is the only way to go here.

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
